Señora Antero I'm not sure where you live, but here in Ohio (and probably wherever you live), the utility companies (e.g. the electric company, water/sewer company...utilities deemed necessary, unlike cable or internet service) have suspended all shut-offs, and have extended the due dates to at least the 2nd week of April and maybe longer. I was laid-off *also* on March 17th (mass-layoff in the US), and my electric was due to be shut off on March 20th but because of the virus & the mass-layoffs all over the country, AEP (electric) is keeping service on until at least April 4th, perhaps longer. Hopefully wherever you live, the utility companies there are doing the same as ours are.

Courts are closed in order to get evicted you have to go to court. In some places sheriffs have to give you a summons. I don't know any officer that is going to willingly put their life on the line for a non emergency matter. Handing someone a letter is not worth contracting a virus. So if the landlord is being nasty let them take you to court. Which most won't do because it costs money and it's a lengthy process. Hopefully things don't have to go that far and they will work something out with you.

There's no way it will hit in 3 weeks especially when there are so many people involved and workers aren't even there to process the payments because the offices are closed. All government offices in Louisville has been closed for over a week. I can't see them processing millions in weeks. Especially when the people on retirement and ssi who don't pay taxes and don't have w2's have to be looked at to see how much they qualify for, AND have to track down their banking and billing information to even find out where to send the check. Two months is cutting it thin I wouldn't be surprised if it takes 3 or 4 months.

Now money is worth only what the government that prints it says it's worth. When they print more and more of it then it's value is less and less. That is inflation. When I was a kid I seen a Corvette at a dealership for $9000. Now a Corvette is $60,000. You need more money than you used to, but gold holds it's value. You don't buy jewelry, that has a mark up. You buy coins and bars and sit on them until you really need them.

@@ok.s4830 from what i understand. if you done your tax return in 2018/2019, receive tax check physical or digital and turn into the bank which you should have put down your routing number on the return form then the moment this is set up they will go through return files, check the ppls bank account with that file tied to and they should be able to put the money in. this is from my basic knowledge of it so want further details you need to ask someone closer to this and got a clearer idea. knowing this there maybe ppl get screwed over even if they qualify so again check others, get sources, ask and pay attention to questions/answers to the bank you contact about this where you done your tax return IF you did not file tax return in 2018/2019 then.... there maybe issues.

@@ok.s4830 when you filed you income tax return you gave a routing number and an account number. That is the one that will be used. If you didn't file yet for 2019 then the one for 2018 will be used. If you don't fall into that category then you will follow the directions that will mailed to you. If you get social security or SSI it will be add in with your standard payment.

Now I work all the time, can't buy a day off and hope I don't get sick all while my job slowly kills me. I would love to have three or four months off. I would love to rest and take care of yourself.
