Because MD banlist is the combination of experiment in OCG and TCG where the high tier game in MD is currently at balance which there's a lot deck can beat the another high tier deck. Even Tenpai is debatable in their domination. Most high tier decks are now is "even though the deck is strong but that doesn't mean its unbeatable".

Just a reminder cause people forget this. TCG didn't ban the omnis and the negates because they thought they were too toxic or because they listened to your feedback. They did it because they wanted you to buy their new 1k cores and the easiest way to do that is by banning cards that will kill as many decks as possible regardless of viability.

Yep. That's why there's always risk beginning your first turn with combos where you have to pay so much LP's. I mean 2000 is quite okay but when you have to pay 4000 or more LP's in your first round, there's always a risk that your opponent could surprise you then during his turn. Only Dinomophia has enough counter for that. ^^

there are some others too: starving venom (2 dark monsters on field), earth golem @ignister (1 cyberse + 1 link monster), dragon knight draco-equiste (1 dragon synchro monster + 1 warrior), predaplant dragostapelia (1 fusion + 1 dark monster)... if you have main deck space tho yubel the loving defender forever is the best super poly target, since it requires 1 yubel + 1+ eff monsters on field, so you can literally super poly an entire board away

I still prefer the Baronne, Chengying, Pater, Masquerena, Elf field on Mannadium plus reframing. The reason I chose Cheng over Aegerine is BC it's generic and you can activate reframing effect to activate Cheng effect

"pay half your LP" type effects used to be broken for their time, but they've been severely power crept. For that reason paying so much LP is no longer worth it for what you're getting. Some of these cards still have their uses, but its not the same. We were starving for good effects back then, but now everything is broken.

A Hero Lives is still a powerful starter. It either eats an Ash for free basically or you can combo without using the normal summon. Using it for Manadium is good because they need Visas to do a lot of the combo lines.
