I could literally give you all the strategies on how to book more clients, I could give you the blueprint on how to make $10k/$20k+ per month in your business, I could tell you exactly what to say in your content to help you get more leads, I could tell you you're undercharging for your work and you need to double your prices, I could hand you an email template on exactly what to say in a pitch email to a brand... but you won't be able to replicate any of these results or take on my strategic advice until you do this one thing...and that is, attending to and removing the limiting beliefs that are holding you back from making all those things a reality.

Something else 🤓: Thanks for asking us to bring questions. I know it’s not directly related to the theme mindset but it came to me from something you mentioned in this video so maybe it’s something for you to dive deeper into regardless if you have more to expand on this topic with: So, in the video you mention the topic “the brand perception a business/brand has build”. This made me think it could be really interesting to hear your take on the challenge of “convincing” potential clients of the value in investing in product photography compared to taking their own images. The real challenge is that I have noticed that often when businesses have a mix of professional product images (made by mw or other photographers) and then their own images that might not be of the same visual quality. The interesting/frustrating thing is that often there is not a big difference in how many likes/comments etc. they get for the professional vs. their own images. And we are talking really nice, professional product images. The thing is that often businesses/brands have a certain follower group that will like and comment JUST because there is a new post - not necessarily based on the quality of the image. So, I have the situation myself now where a long-tern retainer client has had me make images for them every month for 2-3 years and now I see that they start mixing in their own mobile product images since they have gown and now have somebody in marketing with time to do a bit of photography as well. Of course, personally I am worried to loose that client when they realise that get as much engagement on their own images. But even more I am concerned about the direction this is going for us as photographers in general. I can see a bog difference in the quality of the images and who they attract, what t says about the business etc. when I compare the professional images to the ones some (for instance this specific client I mentioned) businesses create on their own. But my question to you is how do we convince existing and potential customers of the value of investing in professional product photography when they see the same engagement os social media when they use their own images? 

And a side question to the topic: How would you advice a client about/against mixing their own images with the product images they pay a photographer to make on website and social media? Even if you don’t have time to create a video on this topic now I would really appreciate any thoughts you might have to share on this topic and challenge (since a have this specific situation with my own client right now). Thanks in advance if you have some clever words to share on this challenge, Amanda - it will be much appreciated 🌱🫶

Just to understand about the example of having a studio - do you charge a "studio Fee" for each project? How much is that typically (and is it based on a date rate, a percentage of the project price, a one-time fee or...)?

You’re welcome Susanne! So glad you’re enjoying this content. Regarding the studio, yes we charge a studio fee for each project. A full day is $1200. Half day is $700. So we add those costs onto our invoices. We don’t own or lease a studio ourselves, just hire project by project ☺️
