What happened to me was that last week I was so on fire for him. Wanting nothing but him, and I started praying more, rebuking the enemy, memorizing more scripture, made flash cards.. and I felt for sure that this time I had gotten a breakthrough. That even though yes life is hard I felt like I was done with thinking suicidal thoughts. Imagine feeling like you’re finally free In the way some people say he frees us. Then as it happens always I’m about 5 days until my period and depression hits me harder than the last time. To the pint where I would get moments of being afraid to drive because I felt like something would come over me and I would drive off a bridge.. that I would have no control of my emotions because the pain was so intense… and now I feel like I’m just mad at God.

@@ltmltm4945 the feelings are real, but they may be no truth to those feelings. I may feel like my family is mad at me, it feels so real. But it could be totally false. The enemy knows how to attack you. God's word is truth! We may not feel like HE is there, the feeling is real, but there is no truth to it. We know,HE will never leave or forsake us. In the scripture where it talks about tearing down strongholds, the strongholds are thought patterns. We all have thought patterns that are ingrained in US. The enemy knows what to whisper in her ear to get us to think something in order to cause a feeling. It's okay to feel like you're mad at God he's a good father and he can handle it and he understands. When those feelings pop up speak scripture to them. I have found sometimes that praying quietly is not enough, the enemy cannot hear our thoughts. But if we speak the truth you can hear that. Don't have to say it loud whisper it speak it to yourself out loud. When the Bible speaks about meditating upon God's word, that word in the original language means to mumble or mutter. Speak the truth of God's word into that situation and circumstance and those feelings.sorry you are struggling. You are not alone, I believe it's first Peter chapter 1 talks about why we struggle and go through trials is to prove our faith and genuine more precious than refined gold

I'd get a revelation about God, and I was able to love people so easily. Then I feel like he has left and I feel empty lately, and sad. I want him back but when I pray, nothing.... You need to know that God is with you, even tho it doesn't feel like it. You have to belive that He's with you even tho you don't have a "feeling" cuz God isn't just a feeling, he's everything, the way your life goes, God dictates it! When you're sad, put your trust in God, when you don't feel like your life is going anywhere or just bad stuff happens, remember what Job had to endure!! And if you have sin in your life, don't forget to repent to God!! Demons are just excuses not to repent from our sins!! Cuz sins keep our relationship with God away from us!! Opening myself up with people, it helped me, to pray better. If you isolate yourself, your going to get depressed. But If you read your bible, the depression goes away, try to read the Bible verbally, and not mentally, pray to God verbally, and not mentally.

I really needed this. I have backslid for quite some time and I hate to admit it I am having trouble knowing where I stand. It is one thing to stop feeling God's presence when you are still living for Him. It is totally different when you have backslid and don't even know if you ever was saved. So I keep doing the things that I know the Bibles says to be saved. I tried to talk to Christians about it but too many say that is a sign He has Forsaken you. Because you chose to return to sin. Even though I don't know for sure deep down I have trouble believing that God would reject anyone who is not seeking Him.

God wants to restore you to your rightful place in him. When I got saved in 2015, I felt His presence thick around me all the time! Then I moved to the middle of nowhere and I felt that connection disappear and then I ended up back sliding. A few weeks ago, I felt my soul was dying as I was living in sin and had no time for God. It isn't about feelings or emotions, His loving presence is different to that, I know, I felt it. He used to say "My anointed " to me regularly but since I gave up my life of sin and gone back to God, I don't feel Him, His presence is not there. I don't understand why. That's what made me stay on fire for Him back in the day.

I went to a church fellowship night a couple of nights ago and one of my friends encouraged me when she said Jesus was standing behind me when I told her I don't feel Him. I believe I have been judging myself too harshly. I walked out of the local shopping centre yesterday morning (in my house painting clothes) and a man said "Hello angel"! I took that as a sign from the Lord 😍 I have seen visions of holding His hand or Him reaching His hands out to me since then and I feel fellowship is so important. Have you spoken to anyone else about this?
