Compared to past battlefields the Helis in this game are pretty doo doo. BF3 helis we’re peak because the guns did the highest splash damage and the ones in this game require you to be precise as hell unless you wait for the rockets to recharge to 8 to kill 1 guy

Driving a scout car is so hard when you’re being attacked by close air support helis. They put craters around you if they miss bouncing you everywhere making it hard to go anywhere. And when they dont miss you it fucking vaporizes half your health.

I'm usually a solo tank crew. Mainly because I eat a few cans of beans an hour before getting in. My tank is dubbed the "Stank Tank", for obvious reasons. No one wants to ride with me except the dog. He eats beans also. Good times. See ya'll on the battlefield :D

I'm a fairly decent pilot but the lock ons are very easy to avoid I will say however the constant lock on spam is a combat for it in itself as half the time you're flying you're spent dodging lock ons than actually targeting really. Especially if you have a competent opponent in an attack heli or air defence vehicle.

The attack helicopters are way to overpowered imo, I was using a jet and couldn't stand 1v1 with these guys. Even by being far enough from them I can't just escape from them locking me or counter-measures doesn't even work because when I used them it does nothing against missiles. So what you did there was god work, don't worry, you would be ending up in heaven 🙏🏼

Rockets take so much to take one guy out. Needs to be fixed alright, buff them. A littlebird can't even take out any ground armor with repeated volleys, it takes waaay too long to recharge rockets, etc...

The helicopters in this game are terrible from a soldier's point of view. For all the time of beta, I shot down only 2, it seems. You hit a helicopter with a rocket launcher 1 time and take away only a third of his health at best. This is despite the fact that it is almost impossible to destroy a helicopter with a rocket launcher (excellent maneuverability+flares+many hp+limited ammunition), moreover, you usually always do it alone, because for some reason no one cares. In the end, I just preferred to get out of the match if I met a couple of good enemy pilots - they became a nightmare.

I don't get the hate on choppers, literally bf3 had way stronger helis that almost insta killed you with miniguns and rockets. 2042 helis can't even kill you with minigun that shit sucks and rockets are only good enough to kill one or two people at best if u are very good. Then you have to recharge all your rockets and that shit takes a while long enough for people to vaporize your ass. They just need more than 1 person with AA missiles and if nobody is using an all-class thing then it is the team's fault, not the game.

This will definitely be yet another Battlefield where I completely avoid any game mode involving vehicles. Helicopters in Battlefield are like playing Call of Duty, except a player can equip 10 miniguns, 10 RPGs, be able to fly, and are virtually invulnerable. 99% of the time I have ever entered a vehicle in Battlefield, was to kill another player that wouldn't get out of one. All vehicles need a point cap or a longer timer. Give both teams a limited number of usable vehicles per match, or make their respawn timers about 10x long as they currently are.

@@neefofway8746 the helicopters are not op, even kinda too low imo.. it takes like 8 rockets to kill one soldier and the amount of aa is actually quite decent. the problem is that most of the players forget that theres something else than just running around and killing others, use the m5 to shoot soldiers or use the aa tank to run into objectives. its definitely not perfect (thats why the beta is there) but the players make it seem way worse than is actually is (one thing everyone has to agree one: the assault rifles are too op lol)

I love the Heli in its current state its enjoyable to just go on a killing spree the locks on's almost never stop and you can die to some dumb shit with it but the Heli could use a little nerf if your feeling good in that thing its extremely easy to go from 0-70 kills in 5-15 minutes. Highest kill game so far with heli that I have was I believe 71 and 0. Still proud of that because of all the AA on the map
