the amount of rage my first fight with Erlang gave me. I was screaming for hours. Honestly the game just gets more fun and easier after the first play through. Loved every bit of my time with it. fully unlocked everything and it was just a good time.

Yeah, NG+ was definitely way easier. Not even just the head start you have on stats, though. That second time, you realize just how easy some of those early bosses are. Yellow Wind Sage, for example. On the first playthrough, it took me hours to beat him. The second time, I didn't even get hit once. After struggling on Erlang, every other boss feels like baby mode. The Qi recovery build used in the video is definitely OP against him, though.

You can pop the Pluck of Many, use the potion that instantly refreshes your spells than pop it again. I used it on Inspector general just to 10 synced critical hits. Epic game.

I found that The azure dust transformation, the fungi-man spirit, and the fan are the best combinations to get his shields down, apparently with Azure Dust he doesn't seem to know what to do against that transformation sometimes and fungi man increases the might to use it again. Also went with the pole stance because the evade whirl attack stun locks him.

Yeah whenever you turn into a Rock Erlang just keeps talking to you. Thats very funny because he is asking you to detransform so that he can beat your ass But the rock is sooo slow though

Another way to do it: max out mana, use Feng tail helmet for more mana, Gore-Eye spirit for even more mana, pop spell binder, then switch to non able spirit for the passive, full bull king armor (or the alternative wukong armor that gives more defense based on talents unlocked), dark iron staff, needle vessel. And enjoy smashing him. Personally I prefer this cause he’s a fun boss for me to fight, and spell binder melts everything in the game.

Everyone was complaining about some of the bosses being difficult like wise-voice to the point of the developers deciding to nerf them when it wasn't even hard, i beat wise-voice first try before nerf, i think the only bosses that gave me any trouble really was yellow wind sage, wukong's broken shell and erlang and after i started ng+ i was able to beat every boss first try... I'm in ng++ now and i got the best armor set and weapon in the game (in my opinion) the bull king armor set and dark iron staff, with the curios to raise my defense even higher i got over 700 defense and around 250-300 atk (depending the pills i use), using the cloud step spell, ring of fire spell, and life strand spell, i can't die even if i wanted too (jk though not really) 😅😂

This fight was so hard for me until I figure out and saw that you need that fan to melt that extra shield. All the bosses are the destine one, they stagger and even they have their own unique way to deal with it. So both the enemy and the player are playing with the same rules, equality and harmony, that truly is never quite well balance in a few games you see this level of polish.

I've dne the first playthrough and secret ending,. Now done NG+ and completed the C6 boss, should I do Erlang again? Does each new run get harder again if I were to do NG++? I strongly recommend saving some mana to use cloud step for that specific attack If you want to actively dodge it, you could count how many seconds go by before he performs the red attack. I think staying not too far away also helps since you can pay attention to his body language. Personally I tend to turn the in-game music and rely on audio cues for boss fights

Not that four playthroughs isn’t enough, but it kind of sucks that there’s literally no progression after the third one. On your fourth, you have everything unlocked, max level and the full bonuses from the secret armor. You *coukd* do a fourth run to see how your maxed out character performs, but every run after that is just harder and harder while your character makes zero progress and has nothing to show for it but some more Will lol. It’s a great game even with its flaws, but no point in playing it past a fourth and even that is pushing it. At least in GoWR you can still collect the stat bonuses. Other games still have other factors to keep playing it, though 4 times is more than enough for most I suppose.

Armor set gives Qi on crit. Crit staff + Staff spin hits really fast and crits often = a lot of Qi gained.

You can straight up one shot erlang in new game+ or aleast get really close or it, one of the last relics allows you too have your clones to copy you. So use fan to break his guard summon clones look for moment to freeze him then hit him with 4 focus attack from all clones

The game was released some days ago and people have not only finished the game once, they did it even more... that's scary. It's great to play videogames and if you upload videos like this guy and you can live because of it, then go ahead. But people with an ordinary job or just in vacation? please... don't spend that much time playing, move a little bit more and train your body.
