first time i ever actually got stoned was being drunk aswell, we smoked beforehand, then started drinking, but they didn't mix together, we smoked another when we were all drunk, and it hit me i remember listening to some music and a friend putting his hand on my shoulder, he leaves it there for like 2 minutes, and i turn to tell him to stop, he's not even there, he hasnt been there for atleast a minute and a half. shit's crazy

Alcohol and cigarettes addiction actually destroyed my life. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my wife which brought me into my disastrous journey on Alcohol and cigarettes. 100% agree I used to have Psychosis and paranoid thoughts like "people thinking about me talking about me etc. Very odd behavior after getting off Adderall from 7-16. Antidepressants at 18-29. 31 now. I took way to much, but took about 20g of Gold caps (Psilocybin containing mushroom) I analyzed my entire life. The emotions that came out helped me understand behavior etc more. Wont ever need to do it again because I'm happy and contempt forever, but I wish more people did this to alter their perception of reality. Would help with healing much trauma

I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them again, either. I wish there was a good, organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.

My experience was way different. I was 17 and it was my birthday, my friends decided the only way to celebrate was with weed and alcohol. Tried this in my 20s and went out clubbing with friends. The desire to dance was being counteracted by me wanting to lie down in one of the booth seats and fall asleep, so I was stuck in this limbo of standing on the dancefloor swaying with my eyes closed for hours. Also, a word of warning - smoking or eating edibles before heavy drinking suppresses your ability to know when you've had too much, as it stops the trigger for stomach fullness and the need to vomit, so you've got to moderate how much you've had. I had a friend who needed to be taken to the hospital to have their stomach pumped from partying on a couple of edibles, a joint, and about 3/4s of a bottle of rye whiskey. Not fun.

I’ve never been high or drunk before but I’ve been pretty loopy after sleep deprivation. A lot of people just become tired if they don’t get enough sleep or if they pull an all nighter but I tend to get pretty crazy and euphoric. At least to me acting really weird and laughing at almost everything. I don’t know what feeling drunk or high feels like but I’m has to feel somewhere close to how I feel without enough sleep.
