I've had Crohn's disease since I was 24. When I was 26 or so, I had a job interview at a city many miles away from where I lived. Amazingly, a female friend of mine that I really fancied but had lost touch with for a while told me that she was at the university of that city when I bumped into her during the summer hols in our hometown. She gave me her uni house address and told me to drop round after the interview. No sat navs or anything else, I eventually found her house. We went out to some pubs and clubs that evening with her uni friends. She offered for me to stay at hers instead of driving back to the place of my then-current job (110 miles away). When I asked where I'd stay, she said, "Oh, my bed's big enough for us both"... inside I was fizzing with excitement but my Crohn's was also giving me hell, so I drove home being so mad at my intestines. We're still in touch 20+ years later but she got married to someone else.

That end, though 😆 I vividly remember the moment it was me. I was in college wearing some medium baggy jeans (fit/slim didn't take off yet) and a pastel yellow polo button-up. This was mid-2000s, so "bowling shoes" were in. It's not an actual bowling shoe but similar styling. She lived on campus, and I was a commuter. We had just gotten back, walked her to her dorm. It was late and dark as I walked across the "quad" area to my car. I waited until I was sure no one was around and just let the biggest one rip. 😆. I remember it so well because the sheer force and sound just made go Jesus Christ or something to that effect and laughed all the way back to the car. One of the biggest things for me when I got my house was it has 5 bathrooms and they all have the toilet room separate from the sinks and showers. They also have strong fans that stay on for a while just with motion in the toilet room. There is no noise heard outside the bathroom. When I have company I always point them out right away so they can go whenever and blow one of em up without any awkwardness. I also make sure I keep candles, matches, plenty of paper and wipes available. So I never know what a woman is doing while they're in there, could be refreshing make-up, maybe hitting a key blast, could be dropping an eighteen inch bowl climber or possibly all of the above...living in L.A. anything is possible.
