Steve Harvey describes the feeling you get when you visit Africa

This is so true, I too felt an immediate connection to Ghana & my ancestors are definitely from that Land but I get that same warm, spiritual feeling when I go to the Caribbean Island where my direct mother & Grand mother are from. Forging these connections are so important for our soul. Travel to one or the other but know your heritage and go see where your ancestors line links to your parents.

As soon as I touched down in the Caribbean, it felt like home. Living in my country of birth feels like a foreign land now, even though I'm proud of where I'm born and patriotic

Which Caribbean country are your folks from? If you don't mind me asking that is.☺

Hey gill, are you guys sure you're from Africa,or is it psychological, because from my understanding, from what Tariq Nasheed says is Black people were in the U.S. before whites, but whites try to give the impression that no blacks were here before they went to Africa, and stole black people from that land, and I'm willing to believe Tariq rather than believe someone who has lied to me most,if not all of my existence here in the U.S. as whites call it.

I never knew it. But viewing from the movies it’s only great if you have money. I am so happy people r not getting shot by the police but when they r just commoners they r treated very badly by the people who have money. They don’t help their poor. That’s why American Missionaries are feeding the children and poor widows in Africa. We give to missions to help the poor in South Africa. Africa have rich resources but the poor don’t enjoy those wealth of resources. I stand corrected if I have been told wrong.
@vestinemusanabera53272 жыл бұрын
@@reushirleygarcia7352 The commoners are not treated badly. Generally, poor people in all continents are treated differently...but we do help the poor here, I'm not sure if the government does but on a communal and individual level, the poor are helped. Plus those dirty villagers living in huts that are shown on western media and labeled as poor are not..... they have food and are happy people, I've lived in both the village and the city, so I speak from experience. We don't neglect our poor. I live in Zambia and have never seen a homeless person being ill treated by a Zambian, they are usually given food and some money. The world in general can be bad and corrupt, rich people all over the world have their own benefits but saying Africa or Africans only care about the rich (lack of a better way to put it) is unfair. If you haven't been to Africa, I'd advice you to visit and your perception might change. With all respect.

This is so inspiring. I have never visited Ghana, but plan to one day soon. However, I have traveled to Morocco in North Africa. The moment I arrived, I felt so at peace and at home. I can't describe in words how I felt but it was just peaceful. I was in Rabat for most of of my trip. The people were kind and hospitable. There were no cops with young men pulled over being harassed. It was the first country I visited where I felt safe walking at night. I hope to visit other countries in Africa.

@francesw.59192 жыл бұрын
@@Rumpleforeskin29 Thank you for your question. I was there on a medical missions trip. I believe God was introducing me to my origin both geographically and spiritually. Furthermore, God is Sovereign and his story says the steps of the righteous are order by him. He allowed me to visit and He allowed my ancestors to be displaced from there. Now you ask HIM why I didn’t make it my home. Perhaps when Jesus/Yeshua returns, I will reign with him there because the Middle East is his homeland as well. That will be a glorious reunion!
