@@RettGaming This only happen extremly often if you play it competitively, you reach diamond tear, and you will run into several different FTK not the same one. Beginer tier 2 and 1, FTK player are really low and even if you see one and except lose without surrendering if you tier 2 you upgrade to tier 1, and if your tier 1 you upgrade to bronze 5 even with a lose. However starting with Bronze 5 you must win to upgrade, however you will never go back to beginer tier with a lose, however if you are in Bronze tier you might return to beginer tier during season reset. Bronze tier from 5 to 1, it is still really low to see Ftk player, however starting in silver tier from tier 5 to 1 the number of FTK player start to increase to a low ammount, however in the pass it was in the medium range because the highest rank was Platinum 1, and now it is behond that Diamond 1. Because now their is Diamond rank, Gold tier 5 to 1 is in the medium range to see FTK instead of the high range, and then Platinum tier 5 to 1 is in the high range of FTK instead of very high, and then Diamond tier is now in the very high range of FTK instead of non-existence, however you may also play against something that is close to an FTK but it is not an FTK, a 0tier deck meaning only an FTK deck or another zero tier deck can beat it, however a tier 1 deck as the possibility to beat a zero tier deck but it is very unlikely. I do not know if God tier is a better deck then a zero tier deck, or God tier is just another name for a Zero tier deck? This is why the lower the number the higher your rank is, the same with the type of deck you used.

I used to play Yu Gi Oh when it first came out for a couple of years. I tried playing Master duel but it wasn't very fun with how the modern meta is. I keep seeing videos of combos like this and it is amusing even if I don't know the cards. But this one I had a captain america 'I got that one' as I knew Catapult Turtle.

Don't blame you. Link monsters and hand traps where the final nail in the coffin. Been playing since day 1 of the card game. Left just before pendulum was introduced I believe? I just remember I wasn't around when they had that stupid Master 5 rule or whatever it was called. The rule that was so terrible that they had to remove it because it literally killed the game, lol. But yeah, only returned when Yu-Gi-Oh duel links was released sometime ago. Then continued on as Master Duels was released. So I watched this one's enjoyable game become hot garbage. Should have just stopped at XYZ monsters. But nope. Hell, they're even adding stupid Rush Duels 🙄 the concept and the anime based off of it are just awful... Thankfully though it's only popular in Japan. While outside Japan, Rush Duels are not catching on. So hopefully that will just remain a Japanese thing.

This is why I started hosting casual night at my locals, and quit the scene. Everyone at my game night leaves happy... where as every one at locals left angry even the winner. Games are meant to be fun, and this isn't fun for anyone imo. Even if it is silly to watch.

No idea why people even bother playing modern yugioh when you can play goat format on duelingbook. Not the greatest format of all time but at least turns are much shorter and you don't need to memorize thousands of card combos that exist in the game. It can be sacky at times but it's nowhere near as bad as your opponent just getting a +5 first turn with multiple negates ready. Being hit with a pot of greed + delinquent isn't always a guaranteed loss.

Stuff like this and stun decks are the reason why I started making Rogue/anti-meta decks that play through stuff. My latest is Gren Maju to hard counter Spright Runick and Ishizu (potentially Tear varient as well).

you know i came because of the ban list hit to turtle in the ocg. I was wondering why turtle was banned. Decks couldn't be too consistent right? Honestly it never matters so long as it wins more the 25% of physical games it needs to go. in digital games more than 10% axe it. It feels much worse digitally than physically. at least you can laugh with the other person at the absurdity after the match in person, where as you only feel salt when you are done with the duel in master duel.

I've stopped playing this game back in Teledad/Lightsworn Era and all i can see now with current Yugioh is ya'll take a long time to lose or win in this game. I was just joking when i said back then that i will have enough time to make a sandwich someday...seems like its possible.

@@RettGaming I had try to use this, pro FTK, con hard lose to hand trap, need some brick in deck So it seem my old OTK version a bit more consistent, however in the end Lunalight is 2 card combo, but now a day most deck just 1 card combo I hope we Lunalight players get support soon

Ya know, FTKs still existed in old yu-gi-oh, but it didn't take them hours to pull off and in most cases, if you ran a magic jammer you could probably stop quite a few of them and that's an instant GG. Though most decks didn't run the card and well, you could always prevent them by just going first lol! Really you were mostly worried about burn decks doing that crap as most other OTKs needed to attack and well you can stop that in multiple different ways *cough* blast sphere *cough*
