Rosin is complicated. Because rosin looks like jelly that you think you can eat. And if it rubs onto a bow, it feels chalky. but if it's brand new, it just looks like soap.

I was a judge at a high school forensics competition. I was in my 20s and looked young. One young lady rushed in, asked the first fellow competitor (she thought) she saw to come get her from a nearby room when that round was ready to start, and rushed out before the "fellow competitor" (me) could say anything. I got her and then started our round. The poor young lady literally slid down the wall and could not get through her speech no matter how much I stated that I wasn't offended. I hope she was able to recover and also learn to slow down a bit.

Empathy. They confused you as younger. For me, it was older. In HS, I needed to take a single class during the summer session because it was the only way to fit it into my schedule to be able to take a specific course in the Fall. I also helped out in another course, at the teacher's request. That teacher knew that I had already driven a significant distance each day to be there, so they were helping me to earn cash to pay for the gas. A lot of the summer course students were taking remedial and repeat courses to rescue their transcript grades. I looked more mature than most students. I also clearly had my act together in the classes. I lost count of how many younger students addressed me as an alumni, assistant, or even a teacher. It was actually a bit entertaining when they began to recognize me in the hallways and classrooms as a student that Fall.😂

@Elizabeth Bottroff our elder teen gets mistaken as older quite a lot. She hates it because she thinks it reflects on her looks. It's because she's always been quite articulate and extremely intelligent. Our younger looks like he's anywhere between 12-30 and definitely plays that up as needed. It's interesting to see. I'm still "accused" of being younger, not that I'm complaining about it now 😂

I showed up to court for a speeding ticket and was just barely going to be on time. It has a big court house in a large city and people were pushing to get in. At the door I saw an older woman walking up and stopped to hold the door for her. She said it's nice to see a young man with manners and a suit and wished me luck. Of course out of the 6 courtrooms she was the judge in the one I was assigned to. I was so shocked to see her. When I go up she says we meet earlier do you remember? Yes I do. Well your attitude impressed me, do you think you can slow down? Yes. Ok instead of 3 points and a $450 dollar fine how about no points and a $75 dollar fine? Yes please.

Reminds me of a job interview I had fresh out of university, myself and more than 20 other people were in this little room with not enough seats and bad air flow, we were told the interviewer would be late by an hour, some people left on being told this. I tried talking to other people but I gave up on small talk as people were incredibly rude, entitled, irritated, competitive, very vocal about having to wait so long and how unprofessional it was, there were only 3 positions available and they wanted it over with. I had turned up early so I had gotten a seat but I ended up giving it to an older lady (I was brought up in the country and old fashioned) we talked about our experience in the field, why we were going for the job etc and she tried to talk to others in the room but they treated her like the competition and most were actually quite cold or just complaining, I remember mentioning to her "gee I hope they have better communication skills with the interviewers" and she laughed pretty loudly. The company had decided to provide us all with tea/coffee, biscuits and sandwiches due to the wait and we would then have the interviews as the interviewers had arrived. I'm not a pushy person, I was also very nervous so I ended up being the last interviewed as I made sure to be the last in line as nerves were getting the better of me, I entered the interview room to find the older lady and 2 other people who had also been masquerading as job applicants conducting the interview. I got the job on the spot and worked with them for 5 years, you never know who you are talking to, it could be you new boss.

@@allinmarathi.7867 The interview process was designed around requirements for the position, I'm a tailor and the position was mainly for making bridal attire in a large shop that specialised in creating custom gowns, if you have ever worked with brides you'll know that they can be very demanding, if you were easily irritated by things like lateness and uncomfortable temperatures (the workshop could get extremely uncomfortable here in summer being Australia) or if you had the tendency to talk down to people or complain about little inconveniences, the family owned business didn't want you, as bad attitudes could easily cost them tens of thousands in business with one bad first impression, you might be surprised to hear that in some job interview processes some companies will hire private investigators to follow potential candidates around to ensure they are not making mistakes in hiring. I spose I could be accused of being slightly fake though because I was the most qualified for the position but my personality did help.

For anyone confused: To remove any discrimination during competitions there are some that are “blind auditions” where the musicians perform behind a curtain and take off their shoes so that the adjudicator only judges how well they play and nothing else Edit: yes they take off their shoes so that you can’t hear the high heels clacking and the curtain is long enough so that you can’t see the musicians feet. Hope that helps!

Twoset teaches values better than teachers do in school XD Edit: Opinion: Even without this context, I personally feel that Twoset actually taught me values that I try to keep in mind in my everyday life. For example, I think that they have shown a lot of courage, resilience and humility over the years. Yeah, you might think, "aren't those the stereotypical good values?" However, I feel that they have definitely exhibited those values, and not in your typical ways. If you give it some thought, their entire channel is the result of resilience and courage. Plus, they are so humble -- they underestimate themselves more often than not. Twoset has inspired me tremendously, they have added so much more colour into my life too. Twoset, if you see this, I speak for all Twosetters (hope y'all don't mind :] ) when I say, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Words cannot express my gratitude to you for what you do, tho it sounds really cliche. :)

For those of you that noticed none of the performers are wearing shoes, I believe it's because usually auditions in the beginning round(s) are blind, meaning the performer stands behind a curtain and you have to remove your shoes so adjudicators can't be biased if they think it's a female identifying player or male identifying player based off of the shoe sounds. Such as if they have high heels on or not. I've had to remove shoes myself for this purpose many times. And unless the audition organizers were trolling us all just to see dirty socks, I'm pretty sure it's standard haha Editing again: The more I think about it, it's probably because they filmed inside a house, but the audition practice is still true for other cases! (The moral lesson wouldn't make sense if they knew they were auditioning blind and I didn't think about that hole in my own logic at first)

I think it was because they are Asian and Asians don’t usually wear shoes inside their houses and they probably filmed this in their house

@@sen.4rt1st Haha maybe that too, but I've also been to auditions and have had to stand behind a curtain barefoot. It was kind of weird they were still barefoot being announced to the adjudicator, but I just wanted to point out that being barefoot may not be completely random either.
