I hate when fast songs suddenly change to a slow part. I just get used to spamming in the fast parts only for it to slow down and I screw up cause I'm already pressing the controls too dang quickly!!! Although what helps me is just listening to the song a whole bunch of times first and then playing it, so I'm used to the sudden changes in rhythm.

Consistent Playing and Constantly playing songs out your comfort zone and songs that you cant clear will help improve, doing it over the course of a year you'll see that songs you consider hard are becoming easier and harder difficulties start to open as playable. There are the obvious Tricks, Hand Layout, Patterns to learn but they're all things you pick up when learning harder songs you cant do. Hopefully this helps maybe you'll look back on it after a month and see how much you improved (as a side note you can record your hands and see what you're doing that needs work on)

​@@Kuba_q-bn3xp Ruty basically summed it up, but yes practice really does help. When it comes to these extremes though, both buttons and the d pad are super crucial. But really work at your own speed. Work on the speeds you can do then increase. An example, I though I could never beat Teo on hard cause I thought it was a little too fast, 7.5. I kept trying a little more and in no time I went from bronze to silver, to gold, to now near perfect. Now 8 speed is my downfall except Gaikoutsu but baby steps lol

@@gunkhead Most pain on the ass gave me tengaku on hard cuz this triple triangle. My left hand is weaker so it was hard for me lol. My biggest issue is that not im dont keep up with song but im getting realy excited when im have for example combo 400/500 and im almost got perfect but no cuz of stress im getting couple safe's and bad's and getting exelent xDDD

@@ruty6099 also taking a break helps sometimes for example i been playing a heck ton of muse dash and i couldn't do master songs and after a month break i can do some 9 stars and 10 stars and now i can nearly do extreme on future tone
