Kpop idols, like regular people, have a large circle of close friends with whom they may talk and confide about their lives and profession. Many idols from various groups and companies in Kpop are still in close contact with one another. Despite the fact that there is a lot of information to the contrary, SM prohibits its artists from forming friends with singers and groups from YG's competitor company. I guess this is why no matter how badly the original top 3 agencies, SM Ent., YG Ent. and JYP Ent. did badly, they still surviving bcos they allowing competition among one another as long as ur artists got the ABILITIES while HYBE doesn’t care whether their players are ready or not! I think friendship between idols is stronger in 2nd generation group, between BB and GG interact without toxic rumors or damaging gossip.. The later generation more careful because the natizens and fans can be very aggressive and protected to their stans...
