Walmart is a wild place to work. I did cap 2, then bakery and deli. Ended up having a mental breakdown at work after my dad passed in 2018, and they trespassed me and got me arrested. Ironically, i kinda dont regret it. Its off my record now. A lot of the times in bakery and deli you end up doing like 3 different peoples jobs, and then get punished if you have stay and clean up in overtime.

I just mentally try to be somewhere else when things get super bad at work. I try to perceive my job as a temporary chore for 8 hours broken up by lunch breaks; instead of looking at it as the main event of the entire day. Yeah I know it won't help everyone and does not fix the fact that a lot of jobs are crappy, but I just try to find any way I can to distance my mind from the trauma...so to speak. Like I said this will not help everyone, and it probably won't even help me forever.

I learned from grocery that work is better than no work, while still being stuck there. I need to move if I’m at work. In fact I liked unloading, and stacking pallets. I worked on a team of three, and one of em liked being in the truck. Even in the summer. Single headphone in. We all good. 8 hours? No prob. 10? Ok. A simple set of tasks and plenty of movement are good with me. I did need audio books though. Keep me entertained.
