This had almost every musical that I was supposed to see from when everything started closing in March (*literally* when everything started closing in NYC) until like the end of April. The only musical I was supposed to watch that wasn't included I'm honestly shocked wasn't. And that thing at the beginning is literally what happened to me (and my choir). We were supposed to leave for NYC March 12 and perform at Carnegie Hall with another choir and watch 2 broadway shows each (only one we were supposed to all see together (it's like 80 kids + chaperones) the other we were splitting into groups) and see an opera at the Met (obviously not included in my counting). Everything either closed or announced it's closing the next day on our way to the airport/while we were in a cell lot next to the airport to see if we could find somewhere else to perform.

Ok, maybe this can help some of you miss Broadway and West End a little less. Since a few weeks there is a new KZbin channel called 'The Show Must Go On' where Andrew Lloyd Webber posts a full length professionally filmed musical every Friday. The musicals are only up for 48 hours, so you have to watch in time before it goes down again, but professionally filmed music clips are also posted and they stay online. So far we've had 'Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat', 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and 'The Phantom of the Opera'. The last one is still up for about 6 hours or so at the time I post this. The others are already taken down. All are obviously Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals, as it is his initiative. Next Friday will be a new musical. They usually announce about halfway through the week what it is and mister Webber will continue to show his musicals for free until Broadway is up and running again or until he runs out of musicals (although he might replay the first ones then). Now spread the word and enjoy my fellow Theatrenerds!
