When you're offline in GTA Online?

In this video I offer an alternate reality explanation as to what goes on in the world of GTA Online when your character is not being controlled by you the player, kinda has a Toy story vibe if I do say so myself :L

The Wandering Rey Before a friend of mine went offline, I told him to climb a windmill where I was standing on. After he went, his now NPC-Character didn't had a routine for the situation and was just standing there. Even shoting in his direction caused no reaction. In the end I shot a bullett in his foot and the character fell to death while doing a Willhelm scream-imitation :D

Holy fuck some of these people are dense. When you transfer your GTA character, it's effectively a duplicate and they don't data sync. My character on PS3 is level 256, my PS4 character is now nearly rank 800
