I have to force myself to skip past those videos because the more I clicked them the more the algorithm fed them to me non-stop to the point where I was more obessed with "Hearing from God" than doing what I should be doing. Had to hear it from a preacher that I'm not a victim to someone telling me "God told me____" and I love that you brought up that God will tell you what you need to know even if you don't click the video❤

So would it make you feel better if the poster said “God laid this upon my spirit to make” verse “Gods trying to reach you?” Or “God wanted me to make this video” The beef I have with these types of comments ts is two fold (Not bc I’m trying to argue I do understand what ur actually saying) But as this gentleman said himself “maybe God is trying to reach you” If we are supposed to hear Gods voice as believers and we all yes all true believers have a calling would we expect a true born again believer to say “the devil wants me to make this video to tell you to pray more” (that’s an extreme example) But what else or how else are “Christian KZbinrs supposed to get it across to new viewers they are giving a short message without mentioning God laid it upon their heart for the viewers?” Just something to think on. I’m glad I’m not the only one who feel this. Everytime I see a video telling me “God needs you to see this” or “Stop scrolling, the lord wants to speak to you”, I always get that guilty feeling that I’m making him disappointed but I thank God this video showed up on the algorithm. It feels like he’s speaking to me through this video. So true. I used to always finish videos on my social media that were all about God bc I thought to myself that God would be disappointed and I might actually need to hear it. I would always feel the need to hear from other people instead of hearing from God directly. I used to think that everything I saw on social media about God was actually God speaking to me at that exact moment lol but they really aren't. My relationship with God became deeper last year and I started not feeling guilty whenever I skipped videos saying "God wants you to see this" HAHAHA. Some even had that chrap ai voiceover, and it made me so furious that people would actually say that just so they could have more veiws and popularity, and i had a hard time figuring out if the person was fake or not, and I alsp felt guilty for skipping knowing that i might be in the wrong. I am seeing a slight breakthrough but it's not because of those dumb videos, it's because I made a conscious decision on my own to change up my methods, combined with prayer. Those videos would almost have you just sit around waiting... waiting around for the breakthrough. Sometimes the vaguely tell you to cut people off, or God is "removing" people from your life--- but I didn't cut anyone off recently, I just added people. I don't like those videos.
