Yeah. My parents were really ripping into my sister for getting some Bs on her report card, and she was a sensitive kid so it made me really upset that they would make such a fuss about something so arbitrary. I told her that the important thing is to focus on the topics she enjoy and never lose her love for learning. My childhood was basically torn down for the sake of “education” and I would hate to see a repeat of that for my little sister

My "big brother" always gets 80+ or 90+ in all of his tests, i am in 8th grade i am not a topper in every subject BUT i always get at least 60%+ or 70+ and 90+ in eng, but my mom she dont notice the 90+, she sees the 70 and 60 because this not enough according to her. And trust me, the worst feeling is being compared to your own siblings EVERYTIME
