The more people try to feel "awaken" the longer it takes for them to actually feel the sense of it, but there is no "awakening" is more of a remembering or discarding the idea we have of who we think we are, this persona we so much attach to starts to fade away over time with spiritual practices or even just mundane life. Life flows thru us when theres no inner resistance to the present moment. Gotta catch the trickery the mind does. Then it starts to act like "okay i will let life flow thru me" ....... few days later " mmmh nothing is happening i still feel the same am i doing something wrong ? " goes back to the idea of desiring not to desire is also desire . Theres a natural surrender that happens after the mind plays all its cards and still wonders what is missing.

Yash. Dude, I don’t know how old you are but I think we’re fairly close in age. When I was 10ish I had a moment of waking. I had forgotten it till you just spoke of yours. I was alone in the woods on the outskirts of our property at dusk. It was fall, I was watching the sun set through the the trees and was hit with thoughts. They didn’t seem to came from me. I was frightened. I thought that religion didn’t make sense. I thought that god can’t have unconditional love and judge us at the same time. I thought how can what we do in this short life, birth to maybe 100 years, determine where we spend eternity. I thought that all the things that I “own” and all the things that I “do” don’t mean anything. I had thoughts of flying through the universe. With just my body, no suit or ship. I enjoyed this for a moment, then I had fear. I ran home and put the thoughts away because I thought I had to be wrong and would be punished if I ever told anybody. That it must be the devil trying to make me evil. Wow. I’m having some serious emotions come up from this. I suppose when we reach the age of reasoning we’re given our first opportunity to break the program. For me Christianity put the kibosh on that. Holy crap! I’ve got to process this revelation. For everyone else, In regards to the other stuff in this video: I’ve had moments of, what’s the point of living if I can’t keep doing this or that?. Then after a time I lose interest in that thing I thought I didn’t want to give up. Trying to force anything through with the human mind will not be true and will fail in some way. It’s a tricky balancing act. We need the personality to maneuver through this human experience. The ego will never be incinerated completely. Not so long as there is a heart beating in the chest. Burning off the useless aspects that keep us bogged down should be a goal for everyone and that can only be done through introspection. I cannot relate the person I was for 49 years. They truly seem foreign to me. My soul decided it was going to wake up this go round. I wasn’t looking for it. I wasn’t aware that “awakening” existed. Let alone some trendy thing that people claim they’re doing through some technique. I can’t see how that’s even possible. Becoming aware is not a doing, it’s a happening. There’s the initial occurrence, but also a continuous “happening”, for so long as the body is alive on this planet. Aspects of the mind will die away while at the same time aspects of the self will make themselves known. I suppose it’s a good thing that so many people are trying to be connected and a part of making their lives, and the world, a better place to exist. But waking up? That is a knowing, not a learning. By the way, at 11:08 when you said, “your truth is your ego talking about truth” I actually did a “HA hahaha” laugh. Thanks for that.

Thank you for sharing. I am so amazed that awakenings can occur at such a young age, as Yash alludes to as well. My first awakening didn't occur until I was 33 years old - and it was a very profound but admittedly frightening experience. How you handled something like this at such a young age is awe-inspiring. @@mimiglimmer Thanks for taking the time to read my comment. I do tend to drone on. I’ve found so much helpful information in comment sections. I randomly comment when something strikes me and doesn’t dissipate after a while. It was temporarily wonderful and then terrifying. It messed me up for a while because there were was no guidance nor access to information in 83. I went back to sleep. I wasn’t into the spiritual thing when I truly woke up. I was in mind bending fear. A trauma happened and my mind spiraled out. The stress was killing this body. Quite literally. After about a month of 24/7 fear, dread, trepidation and horror I guess my soul had had enough. I’ve come to understand that I made it over a hurdle this go round. Life has shifted dramatically in me. Couldn’t go back to sleep if I tried. Now I’m learning how to be in this world with so many sleepwalking people. The hardest is family. Haven’t mastered that one yet, but I work on it everyday. Blessings to you too.

During my all years of soul searching and pain, it has been only a few persons/spiritual teachers with whom I resonate so much. I was brought up catholic so on Thursday mornings at junior school we had to go to church however the thurible with the incense that the priest swung from side to side made my head dizzy and my ears ring almost like an hot fush. I'd close my eyes and go to a ol different dimension it was trippy. My grandmother was very concerned and blamed the devil. I wasn't concerned I loved it, I really felt connected to God. I'm the youngest of 10 but it never happened to my brothers and sisters thou. I'd forgotten all about that until this video.I need to get back to that child innocence. 0:20 wow, i still consider yhis the ereason of my backsliding. because we are supposed to throw away our former self in the awakening and accept God's self. Not I that lives but Christ WHO is in me( Galatians 2:20). But I found out about it years later, learning Christianity mostly. They say for those who rejected their former self im the experience of awakening( in Christianity they call it Baptism of the Holy Spirit, in Russian church also - immersion into the Eternal Being) everithing went smooth from then on.

Incredible this video. I identify me so much with then. In the beginning, 2016, when I was 19 to 20 years old and I read the Power of Now, of Eckhart Tolle, I used to think I was enlightened. In fact, was a very important time in my life, because trought that book I realised the question of identification with thoughts, and this was very important for me in time. But my illusion was I believe then I was already "enlightened" because that. It's funny to think in that now. But I found that there's many things I have to pass through, many emotional pain, before I can think that "now I am in a place of peace". But anyway the journey have been gratified. 4:05 I have watched a video today of one South African pastor, named Apostle Miz Mzwakhe Tancredi. I know, Apostle sound,well, pompous. But the guy is right on point I believe. The name of the video is "YE are Gods"(Christ's phrase), this the most recent one on his channel. So, that pastor as I hve been watching his videos is obviously one of those who had the awakening and stayed there, rejected old self, chose his New Identity in Christ. And I recalled a lot of my own conclusions and revalations I received in my Baptism of the Holt Spirit. So, in that video, I think he is talking the deal, I think what he says there may be the real way out and breakthroug( even though the video is not about backsliding) - affirmations. Speaking from that Eternal Nucleus, Eternal core, the incorruptible seed every born again person is connected to, functioning on that level to reverse the demage, from the incorruptible, from the I AM.

It's interesting that for me it's my bad eating habits along with some other physical vices that I struggle with the most. Introspection is what I've done most of my life which is difficult for many people. I think some things are there to keep a level of humility in ourselves. I'm not excusing my issues but it just seems like we could get arrogant if we didn't have some issues? I'm just speculating? When you reference the alchemic process it reminds me of Manly P Hall who was a 33 degree mason. He was also a teacher and he wrote many books.

I do have a question though? If we are living in a VR headset, how come when the body gets hurt, we feel pain? I've played VR games and whenever the character gets hurt, I don't feel the pain. So how can we have a VR headset on, if we actually feel the pain?
