I'm 45 and never been in a relationship I was in love with someone and then she hated me then I got severe anxiety and my body went numb and I couldn't move sometimes. I feel this message can be destructive you can love someone and their is no purpose but pain. Heartbreak is a part of life. It's not always God's will for us to be with that person we care about. All we can do sometimes is accept respect their decision and pray for that person and try to move on. It's not healthy to pine for someone forever. It may take time but people move on and get married have kids while your sitting there feeling miserable forever. It's time to move on not cling. I can see in comment section hurting people that need to move on as well.

It took me over 12 years to give her a place. It took me over 12 years being so busy and trying to forget it. It took me 4 years to accept and forgive her leaving for somebody else. She made the right choice back then. But when I ran away from my country, after having been on a homeless survival hike in France I started to have lucid and very vivid dreams. One of those dreams was about her, reaching out to me, but unabled to find me. There was this letter that contained a bookwork of all memories we never had. I woke up in the French woods nearby Paris, crying. There I finally asked Him; "God, why!? Why does she keep coming back in my dreams? Why did she reach out to me? Why can't I just let it go even after having been on a survival hike for over 400 kilometers with 40 kg of the last stuff wich I needed to survive and start a new life over there? Why can't I just let it go after having been through so much? God, why!?" Back in Holland was nothing. I ended up in a narcissistic relationship. After a year I left her. But in that relationship, I was still dreaming about my first love. I was searching for her because friends told me she was searching for me. But we couldn't find eachother. It was a dream with a double meaning. The relationship ended soon after that. That part of the dream came true. I couldn't find the love I was looking for. That relationship made me realize, back in the day, I was highly influenced by being raised by a narcissistic mother. It made me understand what I have been through. This information is essential in order to explain properly why our relationship failed back in the day. The other part of that dream is up to me. I have to search for her in real life to make that part of the dream come true. Only a simple "Hi, how are you doing?" Would mean the world to me.

Maybe this is true. I’ve never had a problem getting over an ex girlfriend, and the one I was with last summer? encouraged me to get on my knees and pray daily, assisted me in switching from smoking to vaping, and helped me stay out of handcuffs when I ran into someone who owes me a large sum of money and was planning on street justice. A life changing amount. I have struggled with these feelings for her since she left me in October. I have tried moving on. yet my love for her is as strong as ever. i do not understand why. I have spent years thinking of my ex. Avoiding our daughter because she so looked like and acted like her mother even thou see was adopted out because we were young and she was born out of wedlock. We did go on and get married and had 3 more great children but I let sin not building a stronger relationship with God as a family and helping others destroy our lives together. I have recommitted my life to God and working at rebuilding my relationships with my children. My ex ( covenant spouse do talk once a week) and I pray and leave it in Gods hands what will be.
