In my opinion, God showed kindness to Adam and Eve by clothing them in the garden. They were not Jewish or Hebrews or even Israelites. We are created in Gods image and should emulate His qualities. We should be kind.

Jews more or less abolished the death penalty 2000 years ago, seeking mercy and giving the benefit of the doubt even to those accused of capital offenses. The Talmud attests to this. What other country achieved such a thing so long ago? Did Christian countries have such a state of peace even 100 years ago?
