They should add a new game mode where it’s open world and you have a fleet. Every time you encounter enemies, a regular forts battle starts. You can buy ships such as one core ships, two core ships etc… you could even later buy permanent upgrades to those ships such as an extra smoke stack or a flak gun at the start of the round! Edit: Maybe you could get enemies who chase you, maybe you can get a bounty on your head, maybe you unlock an extra ship slot at certain levels. Tons of possible mechanics and a great but time consuming idea! Edit2: Copy and pasted my comment on barons video and it kinda did really well. Maybe I should become a developer one day!

Am not really one for hotkeys to be fair, I play too many games to remember hotkeys xD Most of my hotkeys (streamdeck and/or keyboard) are pretty much for Premiere Pro aha
