Oh lord. How I love and adore you. Hey yall. I just thought to comment so yall can see how good our god is. God had brought me through hell and back. I wouldn’t be alive if it wasn’t for his mercies. My parents split up in 2012 and I was around 9. I didn’t have a clue why or what happened and when I started attending secondary school in 2013/4 my life went into a downhill spiral. I started drinking, smoking, staying out late, stealing. You name it. I looked for love at the tender age of 14 and obviously I was foolish and got used whilst looking for it. My heart turned into stone. My dad never made an effort to see me and that pushed me to into the hands of men that didn’t love me. I started to hate myself, hate my life, hate everything. I fell out with the bad crowd at school, which at the time broke me, but I needed to get away from them for my own benefit. I had no friends. I smoked endlessly, searching for myself in everything wrong. Then I moved school, made good friends, and I finally found myself again. I had nights in the dark alone just crying. I didn’t know what happiness felt like as I hadn’t felt it in so long. God dragged me out the darkness and shone his light, and I thank him for it. I didn’t know some nights if I was going to make it, I didn’t see the point in living and I’m writing this to tell anyone reading, god LOVES you. When my life spiralled I didn’t think there was a god, and he proved himself. He loved me, even when I didn’t believe in him. Whatever your going through, it may be significantly different to mine, worse, you may be knocking at deaths door. But keep fighting. Keep praying. Keep worshipping. Keep sowing. Trust me. You may not see it, you may not believe it but god has a plan for YOU. He has a plan! He is giving me so many blessings! I went to church a couple weeks ago feeling low and a woman prayed for me. She told me a lot of things that nobody but me knew. I knew god was speaking to me through her. That was when I decided to strive to become a better person for myself and god. If you have read this thank you, because you didn’t have to. I hope my little testimony helps you in your dark hours. I love this song. It’s my favourite gospel song ever and it’s so beautiful. This is my testimony. You can take this in whichever way you want to, but I know what god has brought me through and I’ll love him forever for it.
