My own cat, lilibili-chan, behaves like that too. She's very protective and very jealous. I have catnip-rolls on hand for visitors to give to her, otherwise my visitors are in danger, LOL The only thing that lilibili-chan doesn't do is home-making, but for everything else cat, lilibili-chan is the best companion ever.
