My ex girlfriend is Hindu. The first time I went to her parents home I felt like I was walking infront of a firing squad. Funny thing is ì ended up getting on better with them than I did with her. I think she used me to annoy her parents when I think back. Over 20 year on her parents still pop over for coffee and look after my dog when I am away. They are amazing people. Her Grandmother keeps telling me she has more granddaughters lol. I cant remember the last time I seen there daughter. Her Mother says about the break up I got custody of the her parents lol. It just proves how first thoughts of someone can be completely incorrect.

Indeed. The reason why we still have so many problems nowadays is because we’ve stopped communicating, stopped talking. Everybody is far too comfortable sticking in their echo-chamber of confirmation bias. We’re also far too quick to demonise anybody who opposes us.

While I appreciate an obviously pro remain organisation trying to be conciliatory, the whole sketch is guilty of doing exactly what the younger guy accuses the older guy of doing when he praised his English. Despite trying to portray Brexiteers' motives as reasonable here, the BBC is still so disconnected from the non metropolitan middle classes that voted leave in large numbers that they don't even have a frame of reference to empathise with their views. To the BBC Brexiteers may as well be Martians and that is a huge problem for a national broadcaster that claims to be politically unbiased.
