But someone else are welcome to come back with your son, he was a wonderful and polite kid.. That might trigger his mom to think just a bit about her behaviour in the future ( we can only hope)

I might have added, you have 30 min to be back or I will have to charge you extra for babysitting as well and that will be the doubled the price from the haorcut and if you are not here any corrections won't be made if you are not here. These are the rules for me to allow you to walk out from here and leave your son behind. And if nothing less, make her pre pay for the haorcut at least and get a number if you don't have Lt, just in case something happens while she is gone or can call If she is becoming late. That would have been my terms, coz they are stylists salon and not a babysitter facility 😁 But if the kid said sorry coz of moms behaviour, that big of him and shows that he is embarrassed by his mom. I actually hope she sees this video and gets a wake-up call about her bad or rude behaviour... 🫂Hugs🫂 to that boy.

I have a sign at my station that reads "I charge $100 per hour for babysitting services". There IS a sign, so legally I am covered and can charge that credit card. There will now be a sign on the door. Probably written small. Babysitting services will be $200 per HALF HOUR with a credit card and license hold

Yeah, I'm so sick of creators in the service industry doing this. I understand sometimes arguing is not okay, specially with a child involved, but this sets a precedent where that's the only reaction you can have, give the person what they want. It's not a battle to fight, boundaries are reinforced no matter how much energy to exhaust on them, because if they aren't they will never be respected. Picking a battle is telling a boomer LGBT+ rights are human rights and them not wanting to understand, so you just give up and walk away. They will eventually understand (maybe?), that won't stop the fight for rights, tho. THAT is picking a battle.

I work at an airport as a special assistant helping people who struggle to get to their plane. A lot of them treat us as if we're a special team of people just for them. They want to be be taken shopping, to restaurants where they expect you to sit and wait with them. I've had paxs click their fingers at me as if I am a dog and one guy, as I was pushing him from thepick up point to the terminal tel me he didn't really want a woman pushing him, so I parked that arsehole up and walked away.

I had a VERY similar experience! This woman brought in her SIX YEAR OLD TWINS! for haircuts and she was like "I'm just gonna get them settled and then go pick up the cat from the vet." I was so flustered I didn't even know what to say. She left me completely alone with TWO 6 year olds, who I had never even met before. She didn't ask, she just did it. My own child is 6 and I would NEVER ever ever do that! The first twin that had to wait was totally fine. She sat in the empty station and asked me questions as I cut her sister's hair. Then they switched and the second twin was NOT good at waiting at all, even going so far as to grab my thinning shears off my cart and then start grabbing brushes off my boss's cart. I was piiiiissed. Thank goodness I'm a mom so I knew how to talk to her to set limits. I told my boss later and she said that could never happen again, we are not licensed for childcare, and could absolutely end up in legal trouble if one of the kids were to say I hit them or did something else not ok. It would be a 6 year old's word against mine.
