“What are you looking for the paprika for ?It don’t even taste like nothing- you just putting red dust on ur food”. I’ve watched this video about 10 times laughing out loud. EJ absolutely hilarious😂😂😂. Wishing you and your family a blessed and safe holiday 🙏🏽

So true. It don’t make sense. Red bell peppers have so much flavor fresh and cooked, then you dehydrate it into paprika and it don’t taste like nothing

Yes! I was cracking up. I agree..paprika is red dust. No flavor! Lol

my mom got really sick in 2009 (she's fine now) so Thanksgiving fell to me that year... I said I was helping her out but ended up doing all of it... that backfired on me royally because now I do all the cooking for Thanksgiving and Christmas... I still ask my mom for her input on things like the candied yams and sweet potato pie but I usually get it right the first or second try... 😂😂

You gotta finesse her back in the kitchen with you so she can atleast help with the easy stuff 😂😂

Lord this is so true!! I was making the dressing and my mom asked “did you put the onions, celery and bell peppers in”? Yes ma’am…..what about sage? I don’t smell any? Did you put chicken broth in it? Whew my nerves were worked!! Then said “this some good dressing “ once we started eating!! One thing she did was make me and my 2 sisters watch and help her cook so now we are great at it!! Thanks Mommy❤❤❤❤❤

My mom did the same thing to me. I realized that it is a reflection of her and she wants to make sure that I pass her recipes down like my grandmother did with her children.

BRILLIANT!!! Paprika "dust" made me holla (because I've always felt the same way).

😅😅 Mee too!! Paprika...the "red dust"! 😂😂
@wandaminter94213 жыл бұрын
I've always thought the same, that it's just for presentation. THEN I discovered smoked paprika, and Hungarian hot paprika and more. I still use the "red dust" just for color though.

@@wandaminter9421 yeah...that smoked paprika hits a lil different. 😁 Where can I find the Hungarian hot paprika?
@wandaminter94213 жыл бұрын
@@nadriafrazier6905 You are so right about the smoked paprika. As for the hot, believe it or not I found both of them at TJ Maxx/Marshalls. I'll bet Trader Joes would have it at a decent price, or if you live near a Penzeys they have smaller sizes if you don't want to buy a big amount the first time out. Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

I used to follow my mama all around the house when I was little. I started watching and learning about cooking when I was four. Old school mamas didn't waste no time. If you can walk, you can learn.🤣🤣🤣
