I had a dog for 15 years and when I was younger I created him in the Sims 4, and years passed and my dog died. A long time after his death I decided to open the Sims and saw the dog character I created with his name, it was so heartbreaking. 💔💔

In Sims 4 chickens die this way, that Grimm Reaper is petting them and their soul dissapear. Unfortunately cats and dogs just lie on the ground, Sims cry around while "witnessing death" and Grimm is looking at tablet and at the end is takes soul of dead cat/dog with scythe blow.

When it's time for my real pet to pass away, I hope the process is just as sweet. I was talking with my sister about sims & I think whoever made sims are very soft and gentle soul with a lot of love for the people and furry animals in their lives. Technically, nobody has to die (ambrosia) & you can even hang with those who passed away in ghost forms. Whenever my emotional/mental health is down, I play the sims to escape. Im in my 30s but i still love this game like i did when i first played it as a 6th gradera
