@@SubaruPieter this game is a way of testing the market. korea is noticing life-sims is an untapped genre and want in on it. they gotta go big or go home if theyre going to compete against the sims (although with the way things are i dont think itd be that difficult to top TS4) ive watched interviews with the devs and they seem genuinely passionate about this game which is great to hear. since it's an experimental project they have a lot of space to utilize their ideas without being overly limited.

if each world can have UNIQUE gameplay mechanics that would be super cool design idea. Game will run smooth and it will actually make each world unique and WANTING to travel for those specific types of gameplay. i think they should tie for example ice skating only to the ice world and specific gameplay this will INSENTIFY us to travel.

The game looks like that cause they know cartoony styles age better and are easier/cheaper to make, the world is closed bc the game was originally done in a very limited engine made for multiplayer games, that's also why the game released so unfinished, they had to change it from multiplayer to singleplayer after the failure of SimCity.

yeah considering they likely must have the best PC possible (because in game dev you do need that), they must have 4090 and this is a packaged bin version very likely (so it likely won't get faster in release like others say)) .. so even with the 5000$ PC you will get this quality/speed unfortunately.. so I would wait for the next gen PCs and just buy the most expensive GPU you can buy.. it's gonna be expensive lol

sure but do customers like me have the money for NASA computer? you get 2types of games the REALISM that requires 4090 graphics card and a farm simulation game like Stardew Valley that has pixel graphics which 90% on earth can play and has 200 patches worth of gameplay and depth which is still adding more content to this very day as we speak. WITH GRAPHICS this advance for inZOI the HARDRIVE SPACE THE ENGINE THE UNOPTIMIZED gameplay is going to SUFFER SO HARD i dont see this game lasting longer than 3years max

I hope the gameplay releases with some depth and story progression tied to the world, so far from what they have released it just seems like an empty husk with nice animations. Of course this isn't the final stage of production but I do hope the focus is not alone on aesthetics but also meaningful gameplay.

@@Zuyoj You Bet! I can use different textures 'made' for something else and when applied with care in color choices gives me so many options it's almost criminal. That and the Open world were the 2 main feature which they dropped. My guess was the memory needed to smoothly use it always ate into the game engine trying to kill the framerate. I learned to live with 'less' for MORE.

One thing I loved about sims mods is that they had the one with the bad luck generator where random bad events could happen at any moment made it realistic to have robbings and other disasters that happen daily that are sometimes unavoidable for more realism

We didn't really see any flushed out gameplay, just a lot of stuff we can do. Sims 4 has a lot to do but nothing connects, nothing matters, and every single sim feels the same. Inzoi looks like it will offer a lot, and I understand that they will need time to flush out a lot of these features and offer them depth, but I do hope that they choose at least one feature to really flush out so players have something latch onto while waiting for updates.

Random in-game events, maybe your friend becomes a politician, has a wedding, gets arrested and wants you to bail them out, or you're caught in a job layoff, your house burns down in a freak accident, you get hit by a car because you weren't paying attention when crossing the world, maybe there's a civil war, or there's a serial killer going around and you get to investigate slightly if you have a job as a police detective- things need to just happen. To compare to the Sims, you dictate everything your Sim does, including cancelling or starting actions, choosing your approach to talking with an NPSim, cleaning the house, going to their job and skipping roughly 8 hours of your day automatically unless you have another Sim in your household- you choose and approve of all of these things that happen. Including events, which you can just... choose not to go to, or recover from really easily. Nothing really major happens besides the Grim Reaper coming to collect your Sim because you set them on fire.

When I saw the title I thought they would do something like Paralives did where they took one character, showed the traits system, how to get a job and what job progression looked like, how they meet people, obtain skills, a glimpse of the economy system, etc. I'd seen this video before and saw nothing new in it.

@@Yoonji9212if it’s optimized properly it can be great on lesser-pcs. Look at GTA. That game is huge but it works on OLD POTATOES. Also KFAFTON added a different cartoon graphics for people who want and that can reduce the load. They made PUBG and I’d say from what I know that the game was properly made.

@Yoonji9212 I have a high end gaming desktop that I designed specifically for games like this. I'm not worried. The Sims has so many issues because they lowered the PC specs which is now causing issues because as the game has grown those pcs can no longer handle the load.

What i would like to see is an InGame Benchmark so it would be easier to compare different Systems and how they might run the Game in the end so that it would be easier to know which System could be recommended and which one would need an upgrade to be able to do so. It is likely as optimized as it gets (they just don't want to lose hair quality, plant quality) and such for the demo.. so there will likely be much lower graphical setting as this is maybe the highest setting, but still you need to expect at least 4090 (the most powerful PC you can get) if you don't want to lower the quality way too much..

@@Yoonji9212You can get pretty good specs for less than. The nice thing about a desktop pc is that you can get stuff over time. Just get a 400-800 dollar rig, then upgrade the ram and graphics card later as you can afford it . I got my pc years ago, the monitor, mouse, storage, and keyboard, and tower are still in good shape, the only thing I ever needed to change was my graphics card and add a stick of ram. And also, I know 400-800 isn’t cheap and something that everyone can just get. I don’t want to come off as insensitive , but also don’t get suckered into thinking you need to get an insane rig that costs the same as a down payment on a car lol

I really don't care about the aesthetics, I just wish for this to be an immersive game with actual gameplay. A good balance between your own imagination & management and random events in game that contribute to immersion. None of that can be currently found in Sims 4. We deserve a life simulator for the current times.

It's a closer representation of life than not which is AAi in a nutshell, basically the point of my initial comment. The main problem here tho at least for me is that there seems to be no diversity. @@darianstarfrog If you saw AI images, which seems to have been trained with probably few Kpop and/or Kdrama faces, it gives you a similar face the big majority of time, there's some different type of looks in S. Korea, like in other parts, there's different types of beauty, this game is not using that 2:40 as some seem to imply, there you can see there's not only Korean faces, too, they just choose them for the trailer.

​@@Mmmm-rb9uf This game looks more sanitized and lacks the whimsy of the sims. You can also tell it was made by a Korean developer. Playing in a Korea-inspired society may not be appealing to some Western players, who the game is trying to appeal to. One reason I can think of would be if the developer decides to make social interactions more limited based on your, and makes people in the game dislike you if you aren't more formal and proper. Western players may end up feeling like that's boring because of how it limits gameplay and you have to go through the same old routine (which to them is more grating because it isn't something that comes naturally to them, not having grown up in a culture where that's just how social interaction goes). So no, it isn't the sims. I hate the sims 4 and EA, but this looks boring. The sims 4 lacks depth and has Emotions, which can shape gameplay in ways that make it worse (your sim is creative and becomes inspired? that's the game nudging you to do certain activities). But it's certainly goofy and fantasical and has that lighthearted, fun side to it. I am Canadian, and that shapes my perception of this game, but it looks boring. Mainstream Korean commercial products aren't really known for pushing the envelope. It would be more risky and worse socially to do that in a collectivist society like Korea than an individualist society like the US. So I disagree with you. I wouldn't say lifeless, but certainly not exciting.

well, if you save in the amount of money you spend on DLCs for The Sims, you can definetly have a computer to play this game, let's not forget you need to pay over THOUSAND dollars for a complete TS4 experience, and many things that are sold in packs are gonna be free on inZOI
