I'm not a fan of the president but when he does something good I believe he deserves the credit. Thank you for stating that we cant sacrifice thermal energy for the sake of clean energy at the expense of the people. That was a valid and powerful point the President stated there. The western civilization was built on industrialization through thermal power so we can not be at the same level with them they want to set a standard that will be difficult for us to match because to set up structures for clean energy is very very expensive something that even our neighbors SA a 1st world country and Zambia would struggle to do because the larger % of population are not that wealthy, yes its a stable economy but not strong enough for such a drastic change. Even America and most Western countries are pushing for this energy revolution they are clearly not prepared for. Look at how the war between Ukraine and Russia has affected their energy industry🤷♂.... So I say thank you Mr. President for that insightful point thank you sooooooooo much.....

I beg to differ. Europe has been through big wars. They know the oppressive and backward ways of African despots and narcissistic dictators. This is evidenced through their minimal involvement in African affairs, withdrawal of financial aid and sanctions. Africa needs to wake up and shake loose the inherent savagery in its political landscape. Africa needs Europe, not communist Aisa.
@yeoworld2 жыл бұрын
Those you call African despotes and dictators are sponsors and supported by Europe where they hid all the loots. Europe has nothing to offer to Africa. Africa has no need of europe. if we are to continue in this trajectory Zimbabwe in the next decade will be the head of Africa. it can not be underestimated what Zim has suffered for seeking its freedom from Neo-Imperialism but somehow has soldiered on and is now on a recovery trajectory.the Mugabe erra saw the birth of an independent state that has no Europe support, and the second erra is here to mechanise and materialise the independence. i am impressed of the progressive forward steps. let no future leader regress us to the supremacists.

Somewhat true but we have another power heavily involved in Zimbabwe that needs to be kept in check. As a Zimbabwean I like most of what he has said but he is not being entirely honest. Currently the EU is funding the repair and maintenance of Kariba dam wall. The whole climate change" and "net zero" is over rated, as ED pointed out there are double standards. Germany has just restarted its coal power stations as they have an energy crisis they created. Africa needs to work smarter together and be less dependant on the western globalist mafia.
