This totally proves how easy it is to level up when you are brand new to the game. I wish the OGs had it this easy when we started playing back in 2016. Currently 44 and "slowly" making my way to 45.

I mean, the XP needed between level 44 and 45 is the same than between 0 and 38 more or less so, yeah you level up easily but it does slow down.

I never really understand the no second account rule. I get that it’s for fairness and exploration, but not everyone has friends. And even during Covid people had a harder time trying to trade or do challenges. But it’s niantic, they can do a ton of things wrong and take a while to fix it.

Beginner's luck definitely exists, I started a month ago, and have 13 shinies, around 8 luckies out of around 50 trades, one of them being hundo drilbur, found a galarian zapdos on my first daily incense(ran away cuz I didn't understand throw mechanics...), and found over 50 90%+ pokemon in the wild

2 wild shinys is sooo lucky at 320 catches(with lots being raids) since the base chance for wild shinys is about 1/500. Edit: I just checked on my account with 8,8k catches so far (lets say 8k if we take away community days and raids) i have caught 5 wild shinys (23 in total but most on community days) so thats 1 in 1600 xD

A good way to get more exp is pop a egg especially during bonus times or events and make sure you have a bunch of things lined up to do and save the special research tasks and time your friendship hearts etc when you do it all at once you can really make out if you do it right.
