@@SummerHawaii582 Absolutely for exotic animals. For all animals. Again, I work with several doctors and many of them see exotic pets. I've worked with them for 21 years and I've seen what they do for people and animals daily. Just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean they all should be demonized. AND if you can't afford your pets, you shouldn't have them anyway. Veterinarians go to school for 8+ years and pay half a million dollars or more for their education. They're allowed to charge for medical care. It's not charity, it's a business. It's a HOSPITAL. It costs thousands a day just to keep the buildings running and staff employed. And people wonder why vet staff have the highest suicide rates? 🙄

Thank you so much for all the video's! I'm sure you hear that a lot, but it truly is helpful to all of us pet owners out there! I worked with a Vet for many years and I know how hard it can be. I am thinking my Boxer has Lymphoma....We just made a appointment after watching a lot of your video's. Thanks again!

My dog has had swollen lymph nodes under his jaw for over a year now. I have brought this to my vets attention many times. He has chosen to ignore this. After 40 years with this vet, I've located another vet. The first thing he did was remove a growth in his throat, benign. Nodes are still swollen, his bloodwork was good. Am I missing something here?

I just found a lump in my dogs armpit. Feels just like a "gland" or lymph node. Its not huge but definitely noticeable. maybe size of a "fluffy" lima bean lol, or small grape. I've read you're not supposed to be able to feel the nodes in the armpit at all. Is this true? Should I be concerned about cancer?? I felt for the nodes in his "belly" near the penis area, on either side of it, real low. I can feel one, wasn't big but I did find it. Are you supposed to be able to feel those at all?? Im so worried he may have cancer. Ik he needs to go to vet, we've had a major snowstorm and everything is closed. I just wanted some basic info on the "swollen" node in armpit.Ive read that more than likely with a swollen lymph node in dogs that its cancer. are the chances of something else low?? Can u give me any info?

Thank you Dr. Sue for all of the helpful information. I have an 8 year old yellow female lab. I recently took her in for a rabies shot and wellness exam (Feb 2nd). I discovered swollen lymph nodes about a week ago below her jaw and now other areas. I have a vet appointment on Sunday and will see if I can get her in for an aspirate sooner. Could this have anything to do with the rabies vaccine? Thank you!

Hello Dr. Sue, hope you are doing great. I'm sorry to interrupt you with question but I'm really desperate for a second opinion: my dog (2 years old, bloodhound mix and neutered) were detected with multicenter lynphomas 4 months ago, we started the treatment very quickly after the diagnosis. His first treatment almost killed it because he got an infection and we spent parts of the chemotherapy money to pay the emergency in the hospital, after my dog get out of the hospital he started again with the chemotherapy and he was doing great until we finished all the money that we had save. We asked to my dog's Dr. If we can do it now the chemotherapy treatments every 2 weeks (so we can have enough time to make more money to pay the treatments) and the Doctor said that it was fine because the idea is keeping the treatment. Unfortunately, few days ago I was checking to my dog and I felt again the nodules in my dog neck (no the same size as the beginning) but the are growing again and I'm so devastated right now, my next dog's appointment is this 09/19 and I just wanted to know what can happened? why the nodules back in the middle of the chemotherapy? My dog's Dr. told me at the beginning that my dog Lynphomas were the B cells (I understood that this kind of lymphoma is the most common and most easy treatment with a remission until 14 months or more in some cases) Please! Dr. Sue help us with your response🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 🙏

Dr Sue Cancer Vet I was not meaning with the elbows. But behind them on the rib cage. In looking further, I found there is one in the “arm pit” area. Still not sure exactly where that is on a dog. On the diagram is is labeled “Axillary”. But It is just a drawing and cannot see exactly where that is. Just a line drawn, pointing behind the elbow on the rib cage.

Don't do it. You need to find ways to stimulate the immune system. Change the food and better suplements. "Allergies" are the bodies way of telling you there is something going into your dog that's hurting it. Apoquel suppresses the immune system (a safety blanket). It tricks the body into not being reactive and showing you the owner that the "itching" its gone. When essentially all you did is stopped the body from doing what God intended to do show us when something is wrong! Dogs are sentient beings we don't know how our babies feel if we pump them up with meds. Dogs have a very high tolerance for pain. It's not easy dealing with a dog that has a skin condition( try your best). Research: detox, demodex mange, vaccinosis, raw diet, yeast, malassezia, parasites, systemic yeast infection Pls avoid giving your dog a high carb diet aka kibble, do give your dogs diet that uses fat and protein for energy dogs are not chickens! High carbs are a way dog food manufacturers can make money by selling us less protein (what our dogs are supposed to eat). The beautiful thing about 2020 is that we have access to information THE TRUTH! Stop making big pharmaceutical companies richer! It will not be easy! Good luck!

Purple skin means there's little blood supply or bruising. Pimples more often than not mean infection. Lethargy and dehydration can mean infection. I do hope you took this dog to the vet ASAP and he's doing okay!
