Dates are soft in Nigeria too, the hard ones are just dried down so it can be preserved for a very long period of time and also it makes it easier to be dold every where even where there isn't light. & by the way i think u should try tigernut milk if u haven't. Its a combo of dates, tigernut and coconut, with a chunk.of ginger. Super good and healthy!
