I just lost my last and favorite rattling baby to old age yesterday... Alfredo, named after Al Pacino for the scar-like pattern in the fur over his eye. 😢 He was the chunkiest chaos potato and had adorable squeaks. No doubt he will make a great addition to the forces of The Great Horned Rat. Yes-yes.

And I believe their lives are so much shorter so that we may enjoy more of them. I will eventually get more skaven, and I cannot wait until then. They are lizard fodder. In Age of Sigmar the mere sight of a saurus is enough to give them heavy PTSD. Lizardmen have always proven to be the best at absolutely destroying the skavens. In the end time (curse this) the Lizardmen were the one fighting the big battle against those pesky warm blooded rat-men, they got absolutely slaughtered by the millions until the moon itself crashed on Itza.

I like the reasoning it’s just because he’s so ancient now living thousands of years longer than any other Skaven has(super crazy for a race that usually dies at 13 years) via numerous science experiments on himself that it’s from his memory going and him growing melancholy about it and immortality… ..before the egomania side kicks back in and he wants to become a fullblown god.

The skaven in Warhammer Fantasy are absolutely terrifying as a concept. Rats that breed uncontrollably, are ravenously hungry all the time, have access to incredibly lethal and advanced technology and have absolutely no scruples whatsoever. It’s a wonder they didn’t devour the world long before the Endtimes rolled around.

Would love to get some detailing the Realms like the Realm of Fire or or Realm of Death and going over their surreal realmscapes made of crystallized magic & belief made manifest. 🙏 🌟 Video itself is excellent! I have always been curious about that too. In the lore (as far as I have been able to research), it/he is known as "The Shaper" so there's that. But I think it is deliberately left to mistery and I kind of like that !

I was fascinated by fantasy's vampires til I learnt they are just Nehekarans, made their own inferior potion and moved northward and built their own domain and legacy

While I like that they left The Shaper of the skaven ambiguous, my personal headcanon for WHFB is that it's another chaos god of some varying degree, one that stands apart. They operate in the same way they fashioned Skaven: Move below the surface, downplay the existence when it's convenient and undermine the structures of power for it's own gain.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Mors isn't a great clan. I think they were like the mightiest minor clan and did have their lord on the council but only 1 seat. Gnawdwell was the actual big boss of the Clan, Queek was just the named character we got to use on TT in and in game.
