It's been many years since our pony heroes have started their careers as professional friends. They've reached the apex of their personal journeys and then sort of... well, life carries on doesn't it? A lot of things can happen in the span of ten years. Injuries, new relationships, kids, pacts with evil forces.

I almost cried when I heard these characters again. I missed them so much. The Mentally Advanced Series, and Rainbow Dash Presents were my absolute favorite Pony videos and there's been a huge, gaping, hole in the fandom without these amazingly funny characters continuing to be around.

Greg's ability to juggle dialogue remains razor sharp. I also like the roundabout closure for MAS Twilight's character arc. She's still a grump afraid of sincerity, but she's trying hard to be a good parent.

@jameso2290 MAS is "Mentally Advanced Series," this channel's abridged parody of MLP. It has a 27 episode playist on this channel, among a lot of other pony vids. The humor is the same as what you just watched. Also, don't be put off by the poor animation of the first few uploads; the series originally used clips from the actual show, but they got removed after a copyright strike from Hasbro. Greg redid them all while teaching himself how to animate from scratch.

something super sweet about rarity and applejack being the ones twi's still in contact with. applejack was always her favorite (of the bunch at least) and rarity being considerate and loving 'auntie' who isnt overly pushy or overbearing is an interesting change. its almost like becoming successful in the fashion industry means she has less to prove, and has become more cordial with twilight over time.

I really missed the girls, how Twilight used to be misanthropic, how Rarity used to be a sassy bitch, how Applejack used to be the voice of reason in a gang of nuts, the AMAZING shenanigans of Pinkie Pie (yes!) against the government restrictions, and how Twilight constantly dismissed The Yellow One as the background character she is. Delighted to hear this again. I loved your work, particularly Star in Yellow and Haunting Nightmare. It's also good to see these characters have a happy ending. Although, what happened to Celestia and Luna in your universe? I originally couldn't imagine anything short of a bloody revolution, but she became a bit less villainous in the later RDPs.

You are one of the last remaining artistic pillars of what was a golden age of pony inspired media. So many pillars have moved on... crumbled. A decade and change ago was an amazing time for fan animation and music, all the other art forms birthed in that Renaissance that lived in the first three seasons. Now I won't pretend their was a time when this all wasn’t cringe but it was lighthearted basking in self-aware post-irony all thanks to a 4chan op/manifestation. I don’t know what killed it. (time?) (I do know, it was the Furry flood, Furry asylum seekers. God bless them and us all but that is what killed the fun run. My mom was utterly convinced people weren’t watching this with a shred of pure intentions unlike the kid up the street, kid who showed me the show, whose parents encouraged it perhaps too much... 500 hundred dollars of fan art he came back with him from a con. I never went, art was dank though. Supporting artists also dank. ) Regardless, Greg is one of the OGs. Give him a Hosannah.
