Amen. We are not children of Darkness but of the light. He comes as a thief in he night. And THEY will not escape. 1 Thessalonians 5:2-5 Amos 5:18-19. Tells us the Day of the Lord is darkness and not light. "Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord..." Paul is not looking for the Lord to return to earth in wrath. He is looking for His appearance ( our blessed hope. Titus 2:13), and looking for Christ from heaven who is going to change our vile body to be like His. Philippians 3:20-21.

We could definitely be here 40 days. I have been studying end times for many years. I totally agree with your assumptions that there is time between the Resurrection (glorification) and the Ascension. If we are here for 40 days such as Charles Capps and Kenneth Copeland have said. There needs to be precedent in the First Covenant. Interesting thoughts: A woman cannot present her new born son into the temple until after her 40 day period of uncleanness. This is interesting because Revelation 12 says the man child is born by the woman and then caught up. Jesus of course was here 40 days. During Noah's flood, it took 40 days for the ark to be raised from ground level to mountain top high. Mountain top high seems to be the beginning of a different level of heaven. It is where Moses went up to, and God came down to. The plagues of Egypt took 40 days. So from judgement to total deliverance was 40 days. Moses left the ground level and went to mountain top high and stayed there 40 days. Moses's story could represent the dead in Christ going up on Day 1 and waiting for us for 40 days. Then we go up and meet them in the air. There are likely more examples in the Bible I have not thought of. One retort I always get from church folk when I say that the rapture is SOON. Is that the church is not ready. We are not glorious. And the big revival hasn't happened yet that many prophets have told us about. If we receive our glorified bodies, and remain here 40 days, it will make all of those arguments fit. We will have a glorious 40 day revival on the earth in our glorified bodies before we go up. And the church will definitely be a glorified victorious body. Going out with not a feeble one among us.

With all due respect, I'm wondering when Jesus said "I go and prepare a place for you", if it could simply mean a place for us to go once we die, since souls would no longer be "on the other side of the gulf".

Lovely message. Thanks. I have a question: This message implies that there'd be a "pretribulation" rapture. It is not consistent with what I've been taught in SCHOOL FOR PROPHETS channel (and given scriptural backing, I'm convinced)... pls could you show where the bible CLEARLY wrote of pretribulation rapture? Thanks.

I Thessalonians 4:14 Muslim faith does not believe Jesus died & rose again. Good pause Dr Ollison. Many evangelists skip over this fundamental doctrine of belief without securing the Truth in their hearts. We need to be like Bereans & study to show ourselves approved. 6:00
