In Qld you need a license that has hunting on it but no permits are required, just to correct you.

You'd have to ask the SSAA to be certain. I imagine it comes down to what each property owner is comfortable with.

I have no idea about the turkeys lol but Id be keen to find out. I'd love to hunt and eat a wild turkey! That would be amazing.

Jacob I actually don't know know that mate. I assume you at least need a game license. What state do you live/hunt in?

@@Thehuntsmanshow I’m in nsw, feels like getting a gun license is just a whole crusade in itself I have a bow and have used in on the range quite a lot last year, but I’d love to be able to head down to Mittagong ( I’m from Camden ) and atleast practice on my target while camping with my dog just to get out there. Just don’t want to get in trouble either 😂

I jsut looked it up you need a restricted license on public land but don’t if your hunting ferals and introduced species it looks like, as long as your add hearing to the national parks laws

Jacob getting a firearm license in any state of Australia is not a smooth and quick process haha but that's actually not a bad thing. Keeps a lot of idiots away from guns haha. You definitely don't want to get caught doing thr wrong thing with one.

To be honest, in regards to hunting... it's better then most. Maybe not all over Australia. But NSW and VIC have some fantastic hunting opportunities.

You can hunt deer in private property and national parks in S A without permission if you use a helicopter
