I'm having BBQ for dinner tonight. But I have to walk about 4 blocks to get it.

Nothing like the $100 burger. When I was flying we used to go to a BBQ place called Clark's, in Tioga, Tx. Very popular with pilots, lots of helicopter pictures on the walls. Also an all-you-can-eat catfish place called McGeehee Catfish, right on the Red River just across the Oklahoma line. They even had a lighted grass strip for fixed wings. No longest there, sadly.

Salt Lick BBQ just 70 miles, one flat tire, one tow off I-35 and 6 hours from San Antonio, yet well worth the trouble. May I recommend the sausage, beans were a bit picante as I remember.

I wish the STL Area had more places that had public Helipads (other than Medical and Law Enforcement) that you could fly in and dine.

Micah so at the house you landed at can an owner just park that helicopter on the landing pad like someone park their car in the driveway? How much would the weather and elements be a detriment to the helicopter if left outside and not in a hanger

Dude, could you do a Disneyland flyover to see if they decorated the Haunted Mansion and Main Street for Halloween. We were just talking about it. About now the Haunted Mansion would be open for the Tim Burton Nightmare Before Christmas makeover. I told Siobain I bet they made the makeover just in case. Thanks man

Another great video, Micah, from this Austin native! Any chance we'd get to see a flyover Town Lake, 6th Street, the State Capitol and the University of Texas?

specifically, could you land on Corp. of Engineers land at Lake Whitney? Just curious, when I win the Powerball jackpot, I want to fly into my fishing spots. What about transporting my boat, under the helicopter. I plan on buying a used Huey! LOL 😋But seriously about landing at the lake?
@SkyBaum4 жыл бұрын
Very subjective topic! Definitely varies from state to state Best bet is to land at an approved airport, airpark, heliport or helistop:)

What do you think of airline pilots reporting a man in a jet pack near LAX ?
@MicahMuzio4 жыл бұрын
I think airline pilots wouldn’t report something so absurd if they didn’t actually see it. Whether it was actually a dude in a jet pack or something that else remains to be seen.
