Thanks for the update!! Gotta say, even tho it isn't an IDI, your channel def helped give me the confidence to do an engine swap in my daily driver. It's got a 4.6 v8 in it. My IDI turbo has some piston slap but I'm still busy doing extra projects on it using your videos. Thanks in part to your videos, instead of selling or junking it when the motor finally goes, I'm gonna swap the long block. Much appreciated for all your time working on these videos you've put out!

Politics can be a vicious thing. Unfortunately when I moved to this small town the older residents decided to try imposing their will on me and my land. It got me fighting back and getting involved. Once people seen how outspoken and blunt I can be, they decided I would be a good debate moderator. I ran straight to your channel and was able to get going. It got me a job and helped me take care of my family. Hahahaha... love the content portion. You are 100%. Brother, I have a problem. I am trying to help my son replace the clutch/brake pedal assembly on an '84 F250. And replace the clutch master. Man. Brother, these clutch/brake pedal assembly bolts are so bad we are chiseling them off. Sometimes life is damn tough. Teaching the boy that is ain't all gravy. My truck doesn't have cruise control unfortunately.. I am familiar with idling trucks uo with cruise control but the buttons are not even in my truck...

well get the switches or make momentary push button and a switch to make it work im sure it cant be too complex or an easier method would be a stick on the gas pedal wedged to put the rpms up @@worthshop

Im gonna sound stupid but i just bought a 6.9idi and i cant get fuel out ip and ive heard something bout a meter valve looking around its not that little spring or is their supposed to be some little piston like thing inside the spring?

It is inside the top of the injection pump. Remove the 4 screws pull off the cap with fuel shut off solonoid. It is inside there a rod thing with spring around it.

Be careful reassembling correctly. If you get it wrong you can cause your truck to Rev out of control and runaway and blow up the engine.
