When I was a little boy I'd climb my favorite tree and watch the shadows of trees length across the corn field. This Question crossed my mind many times, "Where did God come from?" No one ever answered better than Dr. Shadrach Meshach Lockridge.

Well like I was saying before it does matter what u do after you have sincerely cried out or sought; from right after to maybe even a few days. If u go right back into what u'v been doin then u absolutely will not feel anything different or maybe even anything at all. With wanting to experience or feel a godly spirited life there has to come change in the life that u live, and it's hard sometimes and is different for everybody. You literally become reborn in a way.

It confounds me that man can put so much study and focus on the hydrogen and helium of Neptune, rather than the God who put them there; that man can pour over the contents of the dust on the moon rather than the God who formed it with His word; that man can turn shooting stars and meteors into idols, things to wish upon, rather than take his requests to a sovereign, omnipotent, and loving God.

We're very much LIKE God, made in His likeness of emotion, consciousness, ability to love, compassion, etc. Just like children dont fully understand why their parents discipline them the way they do and dont let them do certain things and a lot of times they don't like it but little do they know its for their on good and they will grow to see and understand that one day.

Simple answer to your question, nothing needs to force change. change itself is a constant. If existence was static we wouldn't be here. Your statement should be, reality without change cannot exist" but even that isn't true. Some sort of reality could exist without change, it would be a static thing that never changed.

"God came from nowhere" fits our current understanding of the universe better than the writers of scripture could have known. The Bible teaches an eternal God who can see all of time and created the created the universe.Physics shows us a universe that began. In it time and space subsist. All time exists just as space exists (though, thanks to entropy,it goes one way only). The eternal God who created it does stand outside time and space.First causes are needed only in time/space; God is uncaused.

Inaccurate is different than not being able to find specific places/things, etc. either due to it being thousands of years ago or just unable to find. There will always be pieces of history where certain things are missing or unable to be recovered, even within the last 100-200 years. There's 2 main reasons, 1) it's being withheld from us because we're being controlled on wht we kno and that becomes more and more obvious each year, 2) because of the length of time gone by.

and as far as the big bang: Some galaxies appear to be moving away from us at speeds proportional to their distance. This is called "Hubble's Law," named after Edwin Hubble (1889-1953) who discovered this phenomenon in 1929. This observation supports the expansion of the universe and suggests that the universe was once compacted...

My elderly neighbor likes to ask where did God come from as he is very anti-bible ect but I ask where did we come from? When you walk out at night and look up at the stars where did they come from? How did our complex bodies form? There is no doubt in my mind God is real even if man tries to do his best to deny it, I believe the bible is true and it says what it means and means what it says....I thank God that he saved me back in 1989 at the young age of 9....

Just like wht u said below "we cannot imagine wht IS that exists beyond our senses, beyond time/space. God is eternal and I would laugh at anybody who said tht they fully understand eternity bc all we experience is being born and then dying. Our human reality/existence and the universe itself is in definite need to have a foundation because of its mere being, and wht sense is it to say that it just began all on its own?
@tylerh5k

It doesn't exist to us because we can only grasp what is within our senses of seeing, hearing, smelling, feeling. So we know that death is real but we have no idea what happens in that state until it happens to us. Again, I tell u that the proof of God is life itself.

We do not kno and cannot fathom anything outside of time/space which is wht we are born into. All we NEED to kno is that God was, is and is to come. So basically it's either a big bang "poofed" evrythng frm nthng caused by nthng and evrythng just hppnd to fall into place by perfect chance or there is an intelligent designer (God) who had purpose for life in the bginning in which we cannot grasp the thought of his eternity bcause we cant grasp eternity all together! or the end of space.

Where's the rest of it? :-) What an amazing passage to ponder!: Phillipians 2:5-8 "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

The origins of a belief in "God" began when the ancient Hebrews walked the desert plains and questioned the origins of creation. It was imagined that in some way the SOURCE of CREATION must surely be a "superhuman man-god" invisible and far transcendent to earth and humankind. Some of the ancient Prophets were mystically aware that the Source of Creation was diffuse and present - in some way - throughout creation and was also sited in the eternal dimension but this mysticism was not available to the average human mind. We must also understand that, despite the present "seeming reality" (in our minds) of such a "God" from the readings in the Bible, no one has ever glimpsed such a "superhuman man-god" in any form whatsoever, except, perhaps, Moses who claimed he saw Him in a "burning bush" and described Himself as "I Am that I Am". All that people have known of such a "superhuman god" has been derived from reading the colorful descriptions of "God" given by Prophets during their sojourn on earth. It is a hallmark of how illusory are religious beliefs that religionists return only to the ancients for their "truth" since they cannot believe that "God" is truly real, eternal and equally able to speak to people in our day and age. Their ministers are terrified of any beliefs which do not meld into the old ones. Their ministers never consider - or are afraid to consider - that perhaps spiritual knowledge within the earthly dimension - is evolutionary! I want you to "see" that a "fabric of beliefs", a mixture of rationalizations and beliefs, has been concocted to make a web of mental/emotional security with which to enmesh and trap the minds and hearts of people. All that people are taught in the Christian faith is emotionally-based and emanates from "hearsay", derived from early reports of Jesus' life and death on earth. Yet these are believed fanatically. CHRIST'S LETTERS from CHRIST'S WAY

I agree that we cannot evn fathom anything outside of wht we kno accordng to our senses. We don't know the full "side" of God either. How could one ever expect to fully understand an almighty God; the intelligent designer who created life in general and what's beyond this world? It's more than just saying "I believe God did this and that", there's an actual interactive personal relationship and enlightenment with Christ/God, The Ancient of Days, etc. and it's real.

What I mean was that the planets dont just float away, they don't just start turning another direction, etc. And we know that there is not life on any other planet because our space program has not found any in this universe or any real evidence of what COULD be, only false hopes. And if life and nature isn't evidence for an intelligent designer, what is it evidence for, a big accident cause by what? Made from what?

...If the universe is flat and composed mostly of matter, then the age of the universe is 2/(3 Ho) where Ho is the value of the Hubble constant. yes to your last question...and it is called "abiogenesis". how life actually began here though is still a mystery, but we do know no god was necessary for it to have began. we have recently discovered that there used to be water on Mars, so there is a possibility life has existed elsewhere in our solar system. there have also been some incredible discoveries of life living in places here on earth that were once thought impossible under such harsh conditions...life wants to live & finds a way.

The purpose of scripture is not science but of moral conduct, practices to maintain and exceed ones relationship with God, the redemption of mankind thru Christ AND ultimately to let us kno tht we are not alone and tht there is a purpose for our creation and tht we do indeed have life after death, but the choice is ours where we end up; everlasting life with our heavenly father or eternity in a place where God is not, putting it simple. Also testaments of people before involving God in life.

The evil in the world is caused by the freewill/freedom of choice by HUMAN. Perhaps God gave His creation the "benefit of the doubt" that if a renewed generation/population from righteous followers in Him we would learn and kno to be pure, and it worked for a generation but fell away from the will of God in living for themselves/ourselves and doubting God can do wht He has promised in his word and testimony. Setting a standpoint/example/testimony for generations to come.

Radiocarbon dating "One of the most widely used and well-known absolute dating techniques is carbon-14 (or radiocarbon) dating, which is used to date organic remains. This is a radiometric technique since it is based on radioactive decay. Carbon-14 is an unstable isotope of normal carbon, carbon-12. Cosmic radiation entering the earth’s atmosphere produces carbon-14, and plants take in carbon-14 as they fix carbon dioxide. Carbon-14 moves up the food chain...

"free will" does not have the "better of people"...people are merely HUMAN and we should not feel guilty for being such.

Reality without Will cannot exist. Infinite, absolute Will is the only constant capable of creating it's own variables. If the universe and reality is only composed of unguided laws of matter, energy, physics, time and space, how can anything come out of that without something forcing change? For example: If you stand an object on a table, it will remain on that table until acted upon some force, but if there are no rules governing that, how can it work?

GOD a reality with no beginning and a reality with no end. Everything else comes and goes everything. But God is, was and always will be. Defies the laws of everything known to man. Because man and all his ideals never come close to the level of the knowledge, wisdom or understanding of God. He never changes because he doesn't have to.

the BB does not suggest that it came from nothing nor that it "poofed" everything into existence, it merely describes the process by which what is came to be, not what happened before it or where it came from. as i stated, there are many hypotheses including multiple universe theory & the big crunch theory, both of which are far more intriguing than suggesting a 'god did it', for then one has to figure out where this god came from? grasp what your god was doing before it created everything?

Well from what you've been sayin it would seem as tho believing that God created life takes a lil more work rather than being lazy. Work as in belief, faith itself, and working against the grain of the more accepted explanation of the big bang theory.

Says the bible. And we are in no position and wont ever be to think along the lines of how an almighty god would think and reason. He sees way more ahead than we could ever. Evn at the age of being aware and understanding SOME discipline, there will be thngs they wanna do/try/go as preteens and teens but will upset and possibly NOT understand why the parent may not let them bc; simply bc they do not want them exposed to it, but one day they will make thr own decisions and they can figure it out

I'm not assuming it, I firmly believe the biblical God (like His word says), spoke life into existence. It is clear that just by looking at nature and experiencing life itself that we have a creator that MEANT to create us rather than us being here and every good and perfect thing by chance/accident. Light cannot create itself, something causes it, it isn't infinite. God is infinite. Being born into this world experiencing only time and space things like an almighty God can be unfathomable.

Theory is still not fact it's only potential or what "could be". One question that science itself cannot prove is why science happens at all in the first place. What causes this and that to happen? And what causes this and that to happen that way and this way? And what causes it to happen so perfectly without anything telling it to do so; weather, photosynthesis, the earth's rotation on its axis, etc. It's science indeed, but what created it?

Creation man. We're without excuse to not know that God is there just by being alive, seeing the creation of nature and existence itself. From every good and perfect simple thing to every good and perfect complex thing that works just right for what it's supposed to in every area and aspect of universe and life. The planets in perfect suspension spinning in opposite directions of each other. The only planet with life on it just the perfect distance away from the sun/moon, and the list goes on!

just because light does not automatically appear when you walk into a room does not mean it can not create itself, though there is just as much evidence to suggest that light can create itself as there is for your god. Ernst is ONE scientist in 6 million, & making up evolutionary drawings is far different than having physical evidence that is agreed upon & corroborated by the vast majority of accredited peers in their field. their findings are not just hearsay, they are supported by EVIDENCE.

Because that is jumping to a conclusion. We have no way of knowing anything about the nature of reality beyond time and space. It doesn't even make sense to ask questions about such things because we can only understand a temporal reality. Just the act of creating the universe requires time so to say a god did it is invalid. The universe is all that exist. It simply went from one state to another and we don't really know much about it in general so god is an invalid assumption in my opinion.

But what makes it official that their calculations are indeed accurate and correct. There is nothing to show anything that goes back that far. Grasping the idea of 14 billion years ago is the same as grasping that the biblical God has always been and always will be. The calculations change like every year, and not in a consistent matter. its 3 billion, then 10 million, then 10 billion, and then other sources say 20 or 40 million or billion. ???

What year and state of technology are we in and we still can't figure out exactly how the pyramids were built and a few other ancient monuments in an ancient time, seems as tho technology isn't all that reliable with everything, just sayin. Or we're not as smart as the "bronze aged men" in certain things which even back then recognized God, and some maybe not the heavenly God but they still new that life came from A god somewhere.

33°✨MY GRANDFATHERS CREATORS CREATOR BEFORE TIME IT SELF AND LIGHT 🌌™

You ask me if I know how many "possible solar system are out there", that is impossible to know, there may not be any, it's anybodies guess. We don't know and won't know. People can make up all the "science" in the world to support their claim, but that doesn't ever change the question of 'where did that science come from?' EveryTHING has to have a creator and a cause, it doesn't just poof into existence like the big bang theory claims.

#INRI°33°🌹#THESONOFMAN Sonny Man🌹 ~ An interpretation of "The Beginning" from Tablet 2 of The Lost Book of Enki by Zecharia Sitchin. (Pages 46-55) All annotations are my thoughts and not necessarily Sitchin's so watch out...~ I think that it's important to note that it is not the gods actually talking amongst each other. The Sumerians gave the planets character to make their movements about the solar system easier to follow. It's like a children's story told by the adults with a greater understanding of the cosmos than they let on here, simplified that a young Sumerian might recite it by heart. This account, after all, explains the origins of every planet, moon, comet and asteroid within our system, and in chronological order. It also offers circumstantial proof of itself. Uranus's tilt, for example. Pluto's weirdness. Neptune's oceans. Saturn's rings. Jupiter's storms. The Asteroid Belt. How could a people without telescopes even know of such things-- let alone explain them. Apsu = The Sun Little Mummu = Mercury Lahamu = Venus Lahmu= Mars Tiamat = Giant water bearing planet located between Mars and Jupiter. Rhea of Greek Mythology Kingu = Tiamat's largest moon. One of 11 original moons. Kingu is Cronus/Typhon of Greek Mythology who ate Rhea's children (Tiamat's moons) because it was prophesised that one of their children would over throw him. Hammered Bracelet = Asteroid Belt. The remains of Tiamat after numerous collisions, one in particular being very big. In all mythologies it would appear this is the underworld, or the graveyard of the gods. It is why Loki can't be seen but is still lurking about, throwing darts at poor Mercury. It's where Persphone (lower half of Tiamat) married Hades (remains of Kingu). Kishar = Jupiter Anshar = Saturn An = Uranus - It appears Uranus played a much bigger role in our solar system in the distant past. Many mythologies seem to credit An as the All-Father, although they could just be referring to his namesake (the first King on Nibiru after their nuclear war cataclysm). An is Osiris and Odin. The descriptions of these gods within their respective mythologies are a perfect match for the planet Uranus. Antu = Neptune. The narration explains that Neptune did not bear any moons herself, (at least before Nibiru showed up) and implies that they were either captured from elsewhere or they were born after Nibiru's first arrival. From what I gather, the rings of Uranus condensed into hundreds of moons (and maybe even Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune) and that's why they call him the All-Father, with Antu, his spouse, to care for the children, the moons she cares for currently. Gaga = Pluto = Moon of Saturn pulled from orbit towards Nibiru to become a "planet" whose orbit mimics that of Nibiru. Nibiru = The 12th planet of Z. Sitchin's work. Renamed many times throughout history. "Marduk", "Indra", "Zeus", "Horus", "Thor" etc. etc. The tower of babel incident seems to have shattered this story into a hundred fragments. It appears Kings from our own distant past kept renaming the planets in this story after members of their own family, hence all the current confusion between religions. THINK AGAIN YOUR GOD IS NOT DEAD. HE JUST CHOOSE TO WAKE UP LATE 👀™

No, this country was founded on the belief of the biblical God, take "In God We Trust" stamped on our currency for example. This country was founded with the freedom of choice in belief which is slowly being exercised to be taken away, but their understanding in the beginning is no doubt a belief being wiped away by the idea of more power to the government(s) now days. I stand by my proof of life itself and laws of nature, science and the moral code being proof enough for Almighty God.

I hv kind of a strange response. 1) I'm no theologian so thr r indeed thngs I cant begn to expln whre/how and God's real reasoning for certain thngs tht maybe don't make sense now. 2) The inspired word of God (Bible), is very controversial anyway and looked down upon more and more as time goes on bc of its teaching against wht the statuesque desires, and with a lack of technical explanation from myself I would say that trial could go either way; Ephesians 6:19 is specific to tht exact situation.

And I say the same thing right back to you. Wht makes the Bibles say so true is that Christ actually lived and B.C/A.D (after death or Anno Domini -year of our Lord), the scriptures and scrolls found are a testament to his life and his teachings. No other God claims sovereignty, no other God has written testament, no other God made a sacrifice for his creation, and no other God tries to have a personal relationship with his creation. There's more agnosticism and atheist than true Christians.

when people get cancer, why does god leave, when we have money, god is there asking for us to pay for his light bill in the damn church. if I was a god I would get rid of cancer so that children can see there great grandparents and all other diseases. life is not like a bubble, life is the energy that blows the bubble.

...Morphology shows us how organisms adapt ancestral features to new uses, even when there are more efficient solutions elsewhere in nature. Genetics shows us that we can group species by similarity of genes. These groups even share unused DNA. there is still debate that the earth is flat.

The same or similar DNA just means it was a common creator. Car manufacturers uses the same materials for tires on all their cars, and the same material for the fenders and roof on all their cars. The Interiors have the same Carpeting and vinyl and leather. It means there was one car maker.. Ford or Chevrolet or whatever.

@@flashoftruth the analogy I'm using is that in creating something you can use the same materials to make many different things. God may use the same skin on a pig that he uses on a person. Do the millions of different animals all have to have millions of different parts and materials?

@@flashoftruth so after 7 years I'm assuming many conversations like this, you are still not sure of God existence? Okay well I'm going to get out while I can LOL. I'm sure a lot smarter guys than me have tried to explain the hope that lies within us. I better quit now before I'm humiliated beyond recognition. I wish you well.

@@garyg7549 //the analogy I'm using is that in creating something you can use the same materials to make many different things// Then that would not be "creating" but rather rearranging, and it STILL DOES NOT ANSWER WHERE IT ALL CAME FROM? //you are still not sure of God existence?// Oh, I am sure alright, sure that it does NOT exist. And I have been an atheist for almost 50 years now.
