Where Did Jesus Say, 'I am God, Worship Me'? | ANSWERED

Muslims everywhere are being trained to ask Christians their apparent favorite question, "Where did Jesus say, 'I am God, worship me,' in those exact words?" The issue with this is if the muslim is suggesting that Jesus could only claim to be God by uttering a specific sentence, then it is only fair that we answer back by asking, “Where did Jesus say, ‘I am only a prophet, don’t worship me,’ in those exact words?” The absurd and unreasonable demand for a very particular statement, if applied consistently, would thus force Muslims to reject their own view!
Fortunately, we have a simple way to examine what Jesus said about himself. According to both the Bible and the Qur’an, there are certain claims that only God can truly make. For instance, God alone can correctly state that he created the universe. Of course, a mere human being can pronounce the words, “I created the universe,” but the statement would be false coming from anyone other than God.
Hence, if Jesus said things that can only truly be said by God, we must conclude that Jesus claimed to be God. Interestingly, Jews, Christians, and Muslims agree on many of the claims that cannot be properly made by (or about) mere human beings. In this video, we consider several examples of such claims, which are more than enough to meet the challenge of Muslim apologists like Zakir Naik and Ahmed Deedat.

"Son of Man" prophesied 500 years prior in old testament: (Daniel 7:13-14) "“In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man,[a] coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed." This "Son of Man" was given glory and all nations of people worshiped Him. This word "worshiped" was used over 130 times in the Bible and old testament, every single time, only for God. So the Son of Man should receive equal worship to that of God. Jesus claimed to be this Son of Man, thus why He was crucified, the Jews knew what Son of Man meant in relation to Daniel 7, and it meant He was God; His resurrection proved it all happened. Also to Muslims who believe that Jesus didn't die on the cross, every historian concludes that Jesus 100% existed, and 100% was crucified. Nobody in Roman history ever survived a crucifixion.

The Bible is reliable. If you know the fact that the Bible is written by 40 different authors over more than 1500 years making more than 300 prophecies which were all fulfilled by Jesus and is proven to be historically true whilst the Quran was written by an illiterate guy who went to a cave got revelations intermittently 600 years after Jesus' death and didn't know that who he was talking to was an angel until he was told by a heretic that the person he described was "an angel" and had to force people to join his religion through waging wars, whatever logic you're using to justify the Quran and argue with the perfection of the Bible is just ridiculous. Know the history of the Quran first. The fact that pieces of the Quran had to be saved from being eaten by a goat is just funny. It has no contradictions, the problem is the Bible is to be interpreted spiritually but people still take the literal meaning. But it's a hassle to explain what that means.

The choice for that symbol was simply because when I see that symbol I recognize it as a symbol referring to muslims. Firstly, the reason why the question "Where does Jesus claim to be God" is often asked is because it is a fundamental belief in Christianity. Also if there were such a statement then you would have a basis to claim that Jesus is God. Still the Bible has to prove itself whether it is a reliable source which is isn't to several obvious reasons. Your own Scholars say this. (Unknown authors, contradictions etc...) Secondly, you even approve the fact that Jesus didn't claim to be God in the Bible and say something about "exact word dilemma" firstly which in itself doesn't make any sense and secondly doesn't apply to the Quran. The very Verse you quoted 4:171 clearly states that he is no more than a messenger. Still the Quran is Allahs verbal speech. He is the All-Knowledgable so when he says that Jesus is the son of the virgin Mary (Mariam as.), the Messiah and so on then he is so, because God said so. Jesus doesn't need to say it himself because Allah clearly is THE authority.

The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so do not be one of those who doubt," remember that Muhammad is from 600+ AD, the Bible they had in Muhammad's time is basically exactly the same we have as today. So why would Allah tell muhammad to go to those who read the scripture before him to find out if his revelations are true. That would mean he would have needed to talk to jews and christians of his time to understand. Which goes against your point. There's over 6,000 NT manuscripts from Greek translation, 10,000 Latin, Coptic, & Syriac translations, and over 30,000 quotations of the NT from early church fathers, enough to basically piece together the NT off their quotations alone. Therefore, we know 100% that the Bible we have is the original words of the apostles, and preaching of Jesus Christ, especially because all of their practices align with the exact message Jesus taught. Caliph Uthman on the other hand did quite a bit of Quran burning, and what about the goat that ate a page of the Quran, the "protected word of God", as said in the Hadiths?

Let's say they really thought he died on the cross, they would still go to paradise as long as they believed in the Prophehood of Jesus and in the oneness of God. In that period of time it was not wrong to believe in the death of Jesus. Furthermore, the blame would be on the people who corrupted the Bible for their own good. For example the idea of the trinity developed during the reign of emperor Constantine I and Theodosius I. They adopted Christianity and to make it more accessible to the people they wanted to introduce aspects from the greek mythology into Christianity. So in the council of Nicaea 325 they tried to make Jesus and God the Father one (The holy spirit was not even included there). Later in the first council of Constantinople 381 they added the holy spirit and made it 3. (Let's set aside that logically it doesn't make sense). The Quran was revealed in order to correct people on their beliefs. To answer the question why did God let all of this happen: Be believe this life is a test and on the Day of Judgement the people responsible for the corruption will be held accountable. Also Allah does everything he wants, everything that befits his majesty. There is no point in question why did God let this happen. He wanted it and he is the All-Knowledgable, the All-Wise.

Brother I will say that, if you watch just maybe 1 video explaining the trinity it will make sense. I will make an in depth video explonaing it and showing how when I wasn’t a Christian it didn’t make sense and since I was a Muslim at the time I just always ignorantly thought “what how can there be 3 gods? If He can, does that human form of God not also be God, but at the same time to be a human, He must limit himself to legs and arms.
