There isn't a better "no BS" teacher for learning the nuances of the seasons and respective approaches. Matt (and Tim) are like your own personal guides without actual being on the boat with you. Thank you for always sharing and expertly teaching the deeper concepts so more anglers can be successful.

I absolutely love this channel. Soooooo ready for spring in Illinois. Listening to this makes me feel a lot better than guessing myself when to go. Love your 2 days straight in a hoodie point. That really painted a great picture of ideas when to get out! I normally hunt morels THEN fish. I know I'm hitting during the spawn by doing this, but now I have a kayak. Fish, find morels, then fish some more. Perfect

What would you consider Lake Lanier in Georgia? it has multiple features of both the highland and the lowland. long fingers with tons of little fingers going into them and tons of secondarys, but also has tons of islands and humps at midlake and in the lower basin
@schu5.94 жыл бұрын
Ive recently had a warm up, with temps in the 60's and sunny, and some fish in smaller ponds will move up shallow to get to the warmer water before temps drop. Take advantage of this if you fish ponds and youve had a warm up.

I tried different patterns to no avail. Found few fish in 45 feet but no luck. Also no luck on main lake points and humps. No cover around docks or banks due low water. Any ideas for these conditions is much appreciated. Thanks for the videos and info you guys put out!!

The amount of details is insane on this video! Thank you so much! But got a question. I have a reservoir that is a mix of high and lowland. How deep would a pocket have to be that bass could consider using it as a winter spot. Details to keep in mind, I`m in Canada and right now there`s about 40 inches of ice but places have pretty hard current and during the summer, mid July to late August the levels may drop quite a bit (10-15ft). Thanks!

@richardbossman98754 жыл бұрын
Belton can be tough but if it's any consolation it is growing as one of the best Smallmouth fisheries in TX. I would stay towards the deeper end of the lake ( well away from the activities around the BLORA area). There are long arms extending north from the main lake area, I'd start at the breaks and and move north checking secondary points.
