Having a vision helps. It also helps to watch old and new films. You'll have your own ideas of how they could have done better and maybe that inspires your movie. Tom Cruise watches a movie everyday!

Thank you for this video! It inspires. One small issue - the strange color of the lamp in the background. Looks like it is wrong color mapping for out of gamut color. A problem well known to colorists, it can be quite easily avoided.
