Yet all beings in this world suffer. The Gazelle dies a horrific death in the jaws of the lion. Even our human bodies are genetically created to cause us suffering. Our societies and cultures are extremely toxic which leads to stress, anxiety, fear and depression . Climate and weather causes suffering. Life is unending pain, suffering, misery and grief from cradle to grave! .

*The Origin of the Universe and Life* The universe and life appear at the same time. When a mind appears the universe and life appear. Everything in the universe and the origin of our lives thus begin. Without a mind, the universe and life do not exist. When there is a mind, time and space will exist. Time and space are initialized when thoughts begin to vibrate or move. Neither time nor space exist when there is no mind. The existence of movement is called delusion. When self-nature moves, this mind is called Alaya. Alaya can give rise to a myriad of phenomena. This original movement is not that serious because in it there is no attachment nor discrimination. All unfortunate conditions appear when there are attachments and discriminations. A fabulous environment will appear when one has no attachment and discrimination. Pure Land appears when there is no discrimination and attachment. The self-nature, original nature or Buddha nature is only a name. There is no real thing you can touch. Why? It is not a substance. Our Six Senses cannot feel it. Eyes can't see it, you can't feel it, nose can't smell it, tongue can't taste it, ears can't hear it and you can't touch or think of it. However, it does exist. All phenomena are generated by our self-nature. Phenomena appears according to the mind. Self-nature has nothing to show. When will self-nature appear? When the mind appears. So it's called arising in accord with the mind and changes in accord with our consciousness. The phenomena appears when self-nature becomes "mind". Self-nature won't appear if it doesn't become mind. What is the difference between self-nature and the mind? Self-nature has no thought, the mind has thoughts. In the Mahayana Sutra it says, deluded results from arising thoughts. Thoughts arise from the mind. When one has thoughts, that is a mindset. The mind that gives rise to movement. Thoughts are movement or vibration. These thoughts are so subtle that only Bodhisattvas at the 8th level can perceive it. 🙏🙏🙏 Amitabha Buddha

@BuddhismPodcast18 сағат бұрын
That’s one way to view it from a scientific perspective. In Buddhism, life is seen as arising through dependent origination, where karmic causes and conditions also play a crucial role.

@BuddhismPodcast if you don't mind sir can you explain Karmik I don't understand the word please
@Nevio918Күн бұрын
Buddha said the same person doesn't get born again and again, rather karmic consequences and desires carry over to next birth. Still most of today's Buddhist take it as if they are going to be reborn (something similar as reincarnation). Why it is so?
@BuddhismPodcast18 сағат бұрын
Thank you for raising this point. The Buddha taught that it’s not the same "self" that is reborn, but rather the continuity of karmic causes and conditions. Misunderstandings may arise due to cultural interpretations or confusion between rebirth and reincarnation. The focus is on understanding this process to achieve liberation from the cycle.
@Nevio91818 сағат бұрын
@BuddhismPodcast I also think that due to the influence of the concept of reincarnation which was already well established and our believe in us being a person or individual makes us think like that. Whereas through introspection and insights from awareness and meditation help us see that the self is born out of processes and events. Truth is that everything is in a flux. This insight helps us being free from the burden of being a "self" 🙏

Very few reach enlightmen or nirvana. Its simple. Yo do good you get good, you do bad you get bad. If you live the righteous life without passing judgment, without deceiving or with lies and speak nothing but truth and honesty and kindness you can reach nirvana and you won't have to suffer and be reborn or reincarnation. Reincarnation over and over is suffering. Being in this world is suffering. You get it? So I guess when you reach enlightment I guess you become one with the universe or a angel I guess. Just going off from what monks have told us.
@Nevio918Сағат бұрын
@@BB-pq3vj my point is there is no self at the first place to be born again and again. The observer is not different from the observed. So "I" will be living till eternity, "I" will keep reincarnating is an illusion. Not denying that something non physical might last after death, but it's not I" or "me", the individual.
@BB-pq3vj57 минут бұрын
Everyone most likely is reincarnated. Just depends how you lived your past life. Karma is real. Ying and yang. You do good you get good. You do bad you get bad. Those that live the righteous life without passing judgment, deceiving or without lies and speak only but truth with honesty and kindness may reach nirvana or enlightenment. Which means you won't have to suffer and be reincarnated. In Cambodian culture you basically become like an angel and one with the universe. We have famous star beings either monks or priest or even regular people that are chosen by the chosen ones and walk side by side with them because they are righteous. And possess certain powers but they mostly are out to help and teach humankind. It's weird trying to explain but its real.

" Very strange explanation the origin of Humans from Buddha if it was actually his knowledge's. " Buddha is also known as " Samma-SamBuddha " , it means he DISCOVER the origin of EVERYTHING by himself as in self-taught. He also said he only discovered the truth of the nature which had been in existence since the infinity of time. Also he did not CREATE anything , just discover the truth.

You wouldn't find it strange if you understand about evolution. For billions of years, all beings (including us the Human) in the universe went through physical transformation due to endless cycles of expansion and contraction. According to Buddha, beings were described as radiant, mind-made and self luminous. This mirrors the explanation based on modern scientific theories about human existence and evolution, how we transform from a single cell in the deep sea, we went through cycles of twist and turn, we faced and survived extinctions and to become the current big brain 2-legged mammal. This cycles doesn't stop here. It will continue to evolves through causes and effect (Karma) as explained in Chapter 1: The Universe According to Buddhism (from 2:24 to 25:11).
