Where do you get your ALL-PASS filters?

1/2 Great video again! Couple of questions: How are Perlisten S5 in wall speakers compared to S7 ? Does the pricing difference justify the sound quality difference?

Hello, Was wanting your opion on Subs, I have an open living room HT 7.2.4 set up upgrading to all Perlisten S series with S5M and center up front with S for sides back and atmos. L 26”inch by W 14” inch by 9.5 inch ceilings cubic feet= 3427.7, Wife wont let me go big si I can either get 2 R210s or 2 D12S? THX and keep up the great work.

How can it not be needed almost always (using allpass filters), to have all three of LCR mate well to the subs (which most of us runs combined for maximum summation and then EQd)? With my previous setup, LR vs C were so off compared to each other, phase-wise, that I could never get all three to mate well to "the subs as a system". Would love being able to allpass either LR, or C, to fix this.

FWIW; previous system was sealed LRs, ported center, from Linn. Most of my time with them, I ran them all active, and Linn did actively tailor their bottom end response when doing so; gave them a little well placed bump, and tightened rolloffs. Exactly what they did is beyond the point, which is that LR vs C, I think, will maybe always not be very similar, in terms of phase and what to mate with, when handing over to "the subs as a system". I felt a great need to be able to mate "the subs as a system" with either LR, or C, and then force the other to comply, with allpass filters. At least that is what I think I wanted to do. Honestly not sure if I still have that need, just upgraded to KEF R7 Metas and KEF R6 Meta, for LCRs. But I expect I will.

In the software world where I come from when a device has a feature like 4k 30 and autofocus, and those two things don't work. this is called a defect. Otherwise don't release the software/feature set to the user. Just like companies not providing access to low pass filters. It kinda feels like a car salesman response, well its just old, time for a new one. the specs on the a6500 say it does 4k 30, so my question to sony is how is this beyond the devices limits? they control the software

They were paid to set up the system but didn’t do a simple channel to speaker verification? Are you sure they aren’t idiots? If they don’t know the difference between rear and side surrounds or are too careless to check their work then they have no business taking someone’s money.
