It was great to see Cal. I love THWB. Charlie, I am not at all surprised by Steidten's activities targeting players from Brazil. He's matching J-Lo's squad skill needs for the team. It's similar to how several good players arrived at Wolves - Jota, for example, was a notable money maker when he moved to Liverpool.

Very insightful. 👍🏻 I do think this Guilherme is a bit of an ‘insurance’ signing for Paqueta. If Paqueta is allowed to play, Guilherme will be back up and long term successor. If Paqueta is found guilty, Guilherme potentially comes straight in.

My main concern with an 18 year old Brazilian kid is how is he going to deal with the culture shock, loneliness etc. It’s easy to say that Emerson and Paqueta will look after him but they’re fully grown men with families. Why would they want to baby sit a high school kid? We’re going to need to move his family and friends over too.

I imagine at his age he's hungry and wanting to prove himself in arguably the most competitive league in football? and the club will have people to facilitate the move and help with the transition for him and his family? It's on us supporters to cheer him on whenever he plays and cheer louder especially if he has a bad game.
