I dont understand Phillipino but since you said "Once you understand this, you will have a new perspective..." I tried to follow along and thanks to the English inbetween was able to get what you were saying. It was a very good lesson, because it gets a beginner to play solos quickly to a backing track or a band. The part where you didnt try to show off fingering techniques like others but instead went up and down the shapes in positions 1,3,5 etc. That really helped me understand how shapes can fit into a song to improvise and create my own solos. No distortion, 4x12, fancy pedals and bends/hammering/harmonics. Just sweet music thank you very much! Hello from Singapore.

Agree! Just realized it last week. I thought pentatonic is all there is. I memorized the 5 position of the major scale. Then boom !! The fretboard just opened up.

Excellent tutorial on how important learning the Major Scale is PAX 👍! I agree 100% on really getting a grasp of the Major Scale! I think also learning how modes work will be very helpful on how scales work from Major Scale aka ( Mother Scale ) i'm sure you're already an expert on all 7 Modes of the Major Scale and how and why it's called mode 👍. I could feel para akong bata na nakikinig dahil madaling idigest ang style ng explanation kahit Diatonic scale pa yan (karamihan nagsisimula sa Pentatonic dahil mas madaling imemorize).
