I agree with you that self preservation is very important . In times of stress, self-care can especially get off balance. With life, demanding workloads, and overly full plates, self neglect can become a familiar pattern for many of us. It becomes harder to maintain composure and saying no to daily interruption and the demands of others. When you overly manage yourselves or deny your emotions, you end up feeling exhausted. Saying no is okay when it no longer benefits you personally or professionally. And "NO"is considered a complete sentence. Always remember, as our lives only get busier, self-care will become an ever more important part of being authentic and having a positive impact without sacrificing our health or relationships.Time is treasure that we can't get back. By incorporating self-care in our day to day lives, and coming back to it in times of stress we can all become our most constructive , effective, and authentic selves. Brian and Alec, may I suggest that if you have to think about your time on KZbin, that may cutting back to one video every 6 or 8 weeks would work. Thanks Angie for the well wishes. Well there really isn’t a deeper difference or relationship problem if that’s what you’re thinking. We are pretty united in the decision as I myself (Alec) wanted the break much sooner than Brian did. I personally have worked through my own deep sadness that I experienced going through so many changes at once as I did last year, but for me this is very much a joint venture. Our channel is built on spreading happy moments together, so when we both can we will still continue to do so. Videos will still come. Sometimes more infrequent than others, but we will still be including you guys who support us along the way. Much love 💜

Take the time to heal, grow together, build your on your marriage, grow, improve as individuals and be your authentic selves. Death is exhausting. I lost a family member three days before you did Brian, quite unexpectedly. Going through this journey puts things into perspective with a quickness! I am so so glad to hear from you. It has been a journey hasnt it boys. Brian...love you and Alec; and, I send my condolences about grandpa. I know how you feel at a loss of family. I lost my mother's baby brother this fist of the year. After my mom's death we were his fiduciary agents. We had no way of knowing he would leave right after the New Year. Then add to that a close member of my extended family lost her daughter, a twin, the day after we funeralized my uncle. So I know when you have to heal. I am rooting for you both. I also remember the conversation we had in regards your blogging and your purpose or raison detre. Well this is the side effect I was worried about...however Alec's explanation for doing so, and your affirmation and support made us all better and hopeful individuals. I still cling to that no matter the decision ....either to stay or to go. I am just glad to be a part of the MazzGang. Peace and love always. Keep in touch....your friend in Virginia.....Regg.
