Where I am

This is an interview that I did for school. It is about my traumatic incident that changed my life forever. I wrote something to say, but I did not feel comfortable reading it while I was on camera. This is what I wrote.
My last memory is a good one. I've had the image of the two of us in her pool going through my mind everytime I stop and try to think of how happy I was. I see her with her back against the edge of the pool, being the most amazing thing in my life thus far. As I try and recollect the memories from those wonderful days, I can not seem to. I have been robbed of some of my most valuable memories. Then, I wake up feeling as if nothing around me is makes sense. Initially, I have no idea what has happened. At this point I have no assumptions. I have absolutely no clue, besides the fact all I see around me are people in lab coats, and scrubs. This goes on for quite some time. Eventually I am told. Then people I know start coming in, one by one. It was so hard to comprehend. The realization of how perfect my life seemed, then it was turned completely around. An involuntary act of the one that completely blew me away.
