People often were stunned and rude at times. It's none of their business, however on a lighter note. My father's family was from the Baleric Islands in Spain 🇪🇸 many of us emigrated to New Orleans Louisiana.

How exciting! I have family in Southern California and always coming out that way to visit! Some things to see in Los Angeles area....Disneyland as you mentioned, Santa Monica pier, Huntington Beach, Sunset Blvd (where all the actors stars are on the streets), Universal studios, Hollywood sign, if you rent a car the drive from Los Angeles to San Diego is beautiful along the Pacific Ocean, have a great time!

Personally, what I’ve seen of the work that you do in every area of your life you are always making noble and admirable efforts. The people that feel those efforts are the ones that matter, yourself included. Your business is your business. But a; luxury suite on the Vegas strip ranges from 5k- 15k per night. For a gir coming from a country where the monthly average salary is 500.00 per month, you are doing very well. And the room you are chilling in now in CA does not look cheap. Pryvit Tanya, Im sorry people make comments without thinking sometimes. Most of the time they dont realize how it may be taken. However, you are an accomplished professional as we heard, and thank you for sharing some of your thoughts and life history with us. You have taught us a lot about Ukraine. I lived and worked in Orange County for over 2 years (Tustin) so I can recommend Disneyland (mickey mouse is a must!), Universal Studios, Knottsberry Farm or 6 Flags for crazy roller coaster rides, and more calm places, Newport Beach is best for beach and perhaps roller blading along beach, Reagan Library in Simi Valley (I think Reagan was really great), and Santa Barbara is great smaller town to visit up the coast. Be careful about going in water at beach. The currents are dangerous. To me, most fascinating scenery in world, as you are going back through Las Vegas, is Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce Canyon (better with someone else as so much driving, etc). Enjoy every day! And never feel odd about happiness and doing things. Only Ruzz want to crush happiness. F them. Heroyam Slava!

Its great that you and so many tens of millions more chose to continue to live your lives in Ukraine despite the risk. Without enough people, there would be not enough economy to keep the country going. A country at war cannot function with just soldiers. Each soldier needs I think 14 productive tax paying civilians doing all the other jobs to support the country and the war effort. Everyone deserves a break, time to relax, recharge, so that they can keep working to help Ukraine function in its marathon to survive.

I've seen some of the wildest opinions, like calling trips to Ukraine to support their economy 'war tourism.' In reality, Ukraine welcomes foreigners and appreciates people visiting their country-it can even provide a much-needed distraction from the hardships of war. Fun fact but a sad one really: Did you know that tens of thousands of men are bribing their way out of Ukraine every month? It cost about 10k usd per man to get out of there. Women and children cross the border out of there legally. Its easy for a single lady to travel and say she loves her country. But she would be singing a different song if she had a husband or brother who didnt want to participate in the war. Ive met hundreds of guys now over the past two plus years for whom an escape to the US was their golden ticket to life. An absurd amount of men are being sent to war against their will and thats the end for them

Enjoy your trip, Tanya. While you're in California, check out Yosemite National Park. You may need a reservation to get in. Also, Northern California has some beautiful mountains, and don't miss the Redwoods. I've been through Jedidiah Smith Redwoods State Park a couple times and still can't believe how big those trees are. Pacific Coast Highway is also a beautiful drive you won't want to miss.

Yes, Tanya, you really do need this break! It was so painfully obvious that you had been suffering too much with power outages, and blackouts, right?! Why spend money for therapists and psychoanalysts because of all the stress you were under, when an inexpensive flight to the USA would be perhaps even cheaper if not more enjoyable! As to your wish to see Disneyland, I'm reminded of the Ukrainian-born Russian Premier, Nikita Khrushchev, who wanted so badly to see Disneyland when he retired but the Soviet regime refused to give him permission to do so! (Politics, you know?!) But you should definitely try to see your 'dream come true' while you can! Enjoy!
